A Virginia cop has been fired for anonymously donating $25 to Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse’s legal fund with a note saying ‘you’ve done nothing wrong’.
Norfolk Police Lt. William K. Kelly lost his job after a hack revealed the names of those who gave money to help with the 18-year-old’s costs.
Rittenhouse is accused of killing two protesters and wounding a third during a demonstration against police brutality in Wisconsin last August 25.

“Rittenhouse is accused of killing two protesters “

Lawsuits incoming, no doubt.
This disturbing trend of governments persecuting people for their lawful political beliefs is dangerous and probably not going to change without a major shakeup of some sort. Lawsuits won't make a dent in it, even if they are successful. But they have to happen.

The video makes self defense self evident.
Donating to the defense of some one acting in self defense should not be punishable.
They seek to make self defense itself punishable.

I’d think a fat lawsuit could be brought on this.

lawyers are probably lining up to help him bring a lawsuit for First Amendment violations by a government entity.

My question is why is twitter and facebook allowing this news to be published. This was all based on a hack. They didn’t allow Hunter biden’s laptop news be released because they thought it was stolen or hacked. But the info from a hacked site that exposes donations to Kyle is ok?

This reveals that the leftist media organisms are self-serving and are driven by hatred alone, not profit.
COVID has proven that.. stealing elections at state levels cemented that reality.
They’d rather scuttle the ship of commerce if they can’t be the ones in charge, so important is an agenda birthed in Hades and dripping in the blood of innocents.

Garcetti applies to government employee speech. Virginia employees have virtually no rights against an employer if they aren’t in a protected class.
I’m afraid Lawsuits won’t help much here.

I suspect we may soon see an epidemic of blue flu.

Cancel culture will have, and indeed has had, the effect of driving conservatives and patriots further underground, or at least away from the main social media outlets and money center banks. Contributions to worthy causes should be made the old school way: paper checks (not using the “woke” money center banks), money orders, or cash.

Good. Then there won’t be anyone around to protect the scumbag Marxists from people like me.

The right thing to do is reinstate him and fire the individual who fired him based on using hacked material to violate his first amendment rights

RE: SMH. RIP USA.
I knew this would happen when Brendan Eich, the inventor of the web programming language, JavaScript and founder and CEO of the Internet company, Mozilla Corp. had to resign when it was discovered by internet sleuths that he contributed a few thousand dollars to support the one man, one woman initiative during the gay marriage referendum in California ( which affirmed traditional marriage ). That was many years ago. But since there was no widespread backlash at this intolerance, I realized then that it was just a matter of time before such firings and forced resignations would become widespread.

One of the thugs Kyle shot was a child molester. Here's a summary of his "victims"
rap sheet arrest records Of course the fake news media tries to downplay and sanitize their past deeds, Snopes called their criminal records a
"mixture" Both were arrested for drugs and one for domestic abuse and the other for child molestation. Such pillars of the community, weren't they?
