Howdy, luvie.
Did you have a good nap to recuperate from waking up early this morning? :-)
Our weather is lovely, Robin and I did some yard work today and son is over tonight for dinner and hanging out.
Oooooo, I’m jealous of your fine weather. Sure wish some of it would slide over here. We’re below normal and might even have frost one night this week.
Sounds like you had a good day outside in the sun and fresh air.
We’re all anxious to get the museum open again. Not being open last year was the pits! Several people stopped in yesterday when they saw vehicles in the parking lot and we let them go ahead and walk through. We aren’t the only ones who are looking forward to it being open. There’s a little more to do and they’re going to do their best to do it next weekend. Then we’ll be good to go.
I knew I had a lot to do yesterday so didn’t take the camera. I’ll get pix soon though.
I sure did! I could hardly wait to get home and crash. LOL!
How are things there? Orlando is getting rain. Steve is doing a whole stream about it.
Good evening, Janey...((HUGS))...lots of jumpers?
Then back to Denver and points to the east! Safe flights...
Hai Kathy!! (((HUGS))) Ya, busy day; clear skies, no clouds, slight breeze, temps around 76 and full loads. I go to Denver for some recurrent training then put on reserve in Orlando for four days; might catch a flight or two.
Evening, Kathy. How goes in Alaska?
Fort “We-Gotcha” some troops used to call it. My son was stationed out of there for four-plus years but was in Korea, Afghanistan and elsewhere for 60% of that time. He was on the Honor Guard for most of the time there. He liked the old historic cemetery there and sort of told me as we walked it that if he died in the sand-box he would be quite happy to rest there. Its peaceful shade past the MP barracks.
We thank your son for his service to our country.
I figured you’d crash and burn this afternoon. LOL! You were up pretty late last night.
Things are about the same here as they’ve been. Still on the cool side and right nippy at night.
Had to find a document from several years ago and thought it would take forever to find. Tons of paperwork to dig through but I got lucky and just found it! Now I can ignore all the rest I thought I’d have to dig through. WHEW!!!!
Hope the pain clinic has something to help you.
Be very, very nice to your back.
Great that you found it! That’s a good feeling, huh!
I guess we have about the same weather. It’s 48 here right now, and will be in the 60s all week in the daytime. I’m not complaining. LOL!
Good evening, radu...are things still dry in your area?
We had temps in the mid 50s, but no sun, so it didn’t seem warm.
My roof is completely dry, and snow is melting in the yard. I can see grass now, but LOTS of BIG piles of snow need to keep melting.
It’s a VERY good feeling! You don’t know how much stuff I thought I’d have to dig through. I feel free! LOL!
Wow! It’s warmer here than it is there. 55 now but it’s supposed to drop to mid 40s before sunrise.
We MIGHT get a 70 degree day this week but it’s 60s otherwise. We still have two Nashville stations with conflicting predictions for Wed. One says 54 for the high and the other says 64. Both say possible frost that night.
Too cold for this time of year.
Hey there, Kathy.
Yes, it’s still dry here, fortunately. A little rain system is moving across the state tonight but what little rain there is is staying north of us. Next chance for rain is Wed. so maybe our fields will get plowed before then. Several in the area were being plowed yesterday.
You didn’t get any sun at your house today? It broke through a few times at the airport and it looks like the sky’s clearing off now. We can even see Denali and Foraker in the distance on the live cam. Too bad there’s no cam op there to zoom in on them.
Yay for your roof finally being dry. You had a LOT of snow piled up there over the winter.
Those piles of snow in your yard, the cul-de-sac, and elsewhere around town are going to take a while to disappear, that’s for sure. Thee are some monstrous ones scattered around the airport.
How's everyone doing this morning?
