Yeah, I used to work with a distribution company. They used FedEx Ground instead of UPS because they got a big discount and nearly all the shipments were local. Pick up drivers were often just driving their own vans. Service was so-so. Not bad but not necessarily exemplary. I’m sure it has improved since the late 1990s early 2000s.

The main difference I see between Democrats and their media conspirators vs. the GOP is Democrats like to give mass shootings more attention, and seem to want to encourage more of them. They use them for political purposes, so they are a necessity for Democrats.

For quite awhile, Ground was in Green livery, rather than the original blue/orange of the Original overnight air service, for quite awhile, they’ve parallel delivery systems, though the Corporate parent has merged their systems in some ways ( combined discounts for volume, etc.). I retired in 2003 from the overnight Express side, it was a very fun company fo work for for a lot of years, they really did earn their “10 best companies to work for” awards through the 1980’s, into the 90’s. It doesn’t look quite the same now to me.
(but I’ve been gone for quite awhile), I traveled everywhere on the planes (employees for a long time could fly jumpseat anywhere in the world for $0, I Iliterally traveled to the other side of the world for nothing (had to bring my own sack lunch, haha).
Yet it’s USPS that can’t seem to get stuff here in anything remotely resembling a “reasonable time”.
I ~just~ got two JoAnn circulars with awesome coupons...that expired in January and February.
Store will not honor them.
