In Biden’s America, We Need Guns More Than Ever Before-And have less of a chance of getting them
Frontpagemagazine ^ | Apr 15, 2021 | Don Feder

Last week, Clueless Joe signed six executive orders to counter what he calls the “pandemic of gun violence” in America. It used to be just a plain old “epidemic.” Under Biden, it’s been given a promotion.

The orders (including the first step toward a ban on stabilizing braces) are the appetizer course. The entree, which will come later, includes a ban on “assault rifles,” extending the time for FBI background checks and making gun manufacturers liable for the criminal misuse of their products.

Assault rifle is a scary label the media concocted to describe certain semi-automatic weapons. Assault rifles? Try assaulting a fortified position with weapons that fire only one round each time the trigger is pulled. According to the FBI, between the year 2000 and 2015, the weapon most commonly used in mass shootings wasn’t the dreaded assault rifle but the prosaic handgun.

Extending FBI background checks will not keep crazies from getting guns. Most have no record of mental illness.

Neighbors who tried to warn the FBI about the bizarre behavior of the Parkland High School shooter were ignored. (The Bureau was probably too busy trying to verify the Steele Dossier.)  Other than being anti-social, the most notorious mass shooters showed no signs of nutsy fagan.

The number of women buying guns doubled last year. If a woman wants a gun for self-defense, a longer waiting period could give an ex-boyfriend a chance to kill her before she acquired the means of defending herself.

Despite the common myth (repeated by the president at every opportunity), gun manufacturers can be sued for their own negligence, just like any other corporation. Democrats want to make them liable for the crimes of others.

Imagine if Nissan could be sued because a Farrakhan fan drove one of its sedans into a checkpoint on Capitol Hill, killing a police officer. The difference between the two is that progressives don’t want to put automakers out of business (well, except for John Forbes Kerry and Greta Thunberg). The goal of gun prohibitionists is to make it prohibitively expensive to manufacture firearms, drastically reducing their supply.

While he relentlessly attacks the means of self-defense – in clear violation of the Second Amendment, which he claims he respects -- Biden is creating a society where Americans have never needed guns more: the Wild West with anarchist mobs and color-coded justice.

The border is burning – In March, there were around 172,300 encounters at the border, up 71% from February. It’s estimated that at least 1,000 a day are entering undetected. So-called unaccompanied minors (many teens) are admitted, no questions asked. As fast as they can be processed, family units are dispersed across the country. How many of our uninvited guests have criminal records? How many are gang members? The administration doesn’t know and doesn’t care. But it wants the FBI to spend weeks scrutinizing law-abiding, taxpaying citizens before they can arm themselves against the coming migrant crime wave.

Urban anarchy – Last week, a Black Lives Matter activist predicted, “America will riot if Derek Chauvin isn’t convicted for killing (the sainted) George Floyd.” It took Biden three months to condemn last year’s violence, and then only in the most general terms. The National Guard is mobilized to protect the Capitol, not your neighborhood. That may be why in 2020, 40% of first-time gun buyers were African Americans, who saw their neighborhoods go up in flames in last year’s orgy of violence.

The war on police – In Democrat cities, police budgets have been slashed. In New York City, activists wearing face masks are taunting cops sitting in patrol cars, hoping to provoke an incident. Crime rates are through the roof. (Chicago saw a 50% increase in homicides in 2020. In New York, they were up 40%.) Democrats want to subject officers to civil suits, which will lead to more resignations and retirements, further decimating the force. Some of Biden’s bros want to replace cops with social workers. The day may come when you call 911 and get an operator who asks if your attacker experienced childhood trauma.

The war on criminal justice – The St. Louis couple who exercised their Second Amendment rights to ward off invaders are still being prosecuted, unlike anyone in the mob. Soros money has been used to elect local prosecutors. Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon is determined to put criminals back on the streets as quickly as possible. Weeks after he took office, a recall effort is underway. Gascon is part of a new wave of woke prosecutors.

The campaign to silence dissent – A popular podcaster reports he was harassed at his home by two members of the California Highway Patrol for allegedly threatening Commissar Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter, a charge he vigorously denies. It’s part of an on-going effort to silence conservatives. If push comes to shove, I’m glad there are 72 million gunowners in the United States.

As comedian Dave Chappell puts it: “The First Amendment is first for a reason. Second Amendment is just in case the first one doesn't work out."

While Biden allows the country to be inundated with illegal aliens, anarchist mobs are preparing their next assault on our cities, and the war on police is resulting in a crime explosion, the president assures us of his love for the Second Amendment, while he plots to make it obsolete.

Forget polls, the electorate has been voting this issue with their wallets since Obama was elected, accelerating since the Big Guy came in.

That’s why people shouldn’t have waited and/or presumed they had time because Trump would be re-elected.

Right now availability is far more a problem than govt. Forget semi auto, in some places even lever action rifles can’t be found.

No new gun laws. Enforce the ones on the book before adding more. Start with Hunter Biden. Remove restrictions on silencers. Mufflers are required on automobiles and lawn mowers, should be the same with firearms. And NO $200 stamp either.

“...And have less of a chance of getting them...”

Maybe not. I think the outlawed guns will be available just like the outlawed drugs.... and likely from the very SAME people.

The Black Market can replace Capitalism any day of the week...because they are essentially the same) thing. Think: supply/demand

The black market for guns is thriving, witness our inner cities. Joe’s inanities aside, criminals don’t shop at gun shows.

Put the open gun shows on Indian reservations next to the casinos. Find out every way to tell the feds to stick it.

Was at Walmart the other day and passed by their gun display; there were maybe four or five with two shotguns. No ammo whatsoever, worse than under 0bama.

Interesting idea. And profitable for the tribes. However the government could legislate regarding purchases by non tribal members. The NICS system is available to tribal agencies to enforce tribal regulations. However usually stricter than state regulation. I suspect in the end it wouldn’t work, at least for non tribal members.

Yep. As I patiently wait for the call on my silencer. Its been 8 months so far. I wonder if I’ll be out 800 dollars along with thousands of other people. I guess I’ll just have to continue wearing my ear protection. IMO these items should not require a stamp since they do help to protect your hearing. Just another money grab from the government.

Ha. I just read your comment before posting my own. I completely agree and if the Josef Stolen admin has anything to do with it my current 8 month wait will probably double just for ear protection.

***Enforce the ones on the book before adding more.***

Biden said, in 2013, that they do not have the time or manpower to enforce the laws.

You need to start cleaning your guns with a solvent trap. it makes them perform so much smoother.

I think this is a little bit disingenuous

Those of us who are armed to the teeth have been armed to the teeth for many decades now

I believe it’s very few people that still need to go purchase their first weapon

Now ammo?

That’s a different story

I clean after every time I go shoot. Thankfully I prepared ahead of time and have plenty of ammo along with the ability to reload them.
As for the people who are out seeking additional firearms. A good place to start is at estate sales. I’ve got a friend who hosts these and he’s come across some pretty good firearms.
I picked up a mint Sako .375 h&h magnum recently from a different estate. It’s probably been fired under a dozen times. Has a good Leupold scope on it too. A beautiful wood stock. Probably will be a bench shooter though since I probably won’t be going to Africa any time soon. I have a really good rifle that I’ve dialed in my ammo and sights for a sub 1” moa for hunting here in N. America. It’ll put down whatever I am hunting for. It’s the big stuff in Africa that the 375 is the minimum rifle to hunt out there unless hunting the smaller game.

There are plenty of Guns for sale - there is NO Ammo anywhere - Last week a Durham’s Store in Indiana posted they had Ammo in stock - they were sold out in less than a hour.

People are buying empty guns

You pretend that everybody else is as responsible as you.
Some folks woke up a few months ago - to their detriment.

I’m like you, been ready for decades and I’ve got crocodile tears for those who aren’t - but most folks in this world have their focus on social apps, their lives, and other nonsensical things.
