HUNGRY McDonald's customers were met with a brutally honest sign explaining why their Big Mac and fries might be a little late.
The branch in the United States went viral after a small yellow sign that said their staff "didn't want to work anymore".
Above the order here instructions, the sign read: "We are short-staffed. Please be patient with the staff that did not show up. No one wants to work anymore."
The blunt note was spotted by Brittany Jade on TikTok and posted a video of the hilarious sign.
"Y'all. Our McDonald's is savage AF," Brittany wrote in the caption.
In the comments to the video, many have shown their support to over-worked staff.
One person wrote: “So true, don’t get mad at the ones there working. They aren’t the reason it’s short-staffed.”

I was a dishwasher at a major steak house.
Boss would call me in to cook the steaks when they were short.
Pay went up.
I was always the dishwasher. Mon-Fri 8-4.
Yea, technically...but it shows the attitude of the spoiled brats. My buddy, in high school broke his balls cutting grass for people. Today, it’s toooooo haaaaard.
Exactly. Most of today’s young kids have no work ethic. You can offer to pay them a fortune, but they just don’t want to work.
“Why work when you can make more staying home”
On the local news they interviewed a local restaurant owner who said that exact thing about getting workers; they’re making more on unemployment. He was pretty fired up about it, too.
If they’ve got a degree and are just doing an office job at $15 and hour....they’re worse off than they think.
“there’s no nobility in poverty”
“go get a job a &&&&in’ McDonald’s because that’s where YOU belong!”

If I offer $100/hr will I get someone? How about $50? See how it works????
Our local Ace Hardware Store is the exact opposite. The owner, Henry, is ALWAYS there and he and his loyal staff know everything. You can’t be in the store 15 seconds without Henry or his staff coming up and asking how your day is going, if you need any help, if they can help you find something. He is absolutely rewarded by the townsfolk for that superior service! I’m amazed at the number of employees Henry has and their loyalty to him. Every time you leave the store, Henry gives you a hearty “Thank you for your business!”
I go to the local Home Depot or Lowe’s and experience exactly what your daughter did — impossible to find anybody and they usually don’t know anything.
I do everything I can to give Henry my support and business. Been going there for probably 30 or 35 years now.
He has to pay more or go out of business. Sorry. Too bad.
Thank India and age discrimination
When I was in high school, hell, I would have paid the contractor to work for him, and would have most of my friends.

I’m about to be sent into a cluster-F in VA.
Not a single local able to be there. I have one week on a construction site I know nothing about and expected to start up major power systems.
I guess everybody has issues with having any qualified personnel.
I believe it should
After I retired I took a seasonal part-time job and was astounded how even a little work the young people will avoid doing. ....and that goes for the management they advance up the rank and file. Terrible work ethics.
And Bill Gates as well who repeatedly lied to Congress and said that there weren’t people in America who could do the work and he pocketed BILLIONS for his lies and depressed salaries in an entire industry. Stolen wealth. Certainly had the money to pay the people he said didn’t exist.
Among the richest men in the universe.
Nobody’s going to pay that for lazy workers.
Same thing with the Ace Hardware in my town!
Pay them in Marijuana! :)
Um...never mind.
You’re digressing
No you don’t....if an individual is willing to work for what you pay that’s how it works....if they want more they generally move on..
