HUNGRY McDonald's customers were met with a brutally honest sign explaining why their Big Mac and fries might be a little late.
The branch in the United States went viral after a small yellow sign that said their staff "didn't want to work anymore".
Above the order here instructions, the sign read: "We are short-staffed. Please be patient with the staff that did not show up. No one wants to work anymore."
The blunt note was spotted by Brittany Jade on TikTok and posted a video of the hilarious sign.
"Y'all. Our McDonald's is savage AF," Brittany wrote in the caption.
In the comments to the video, many have shown their support to over-worked staff.
One person wrote: “So true, don’t get mad at the ones there working. They aren’t the reason it’s short-staffed.”

Tail-end Boomers are going to be retiring before long, and a whole lot of their jobs will be difficult to fill with today’s younger ones; critical infrastructure jobs in many cases. We’re quietly working away (many with great job security even in our 60’s), and have a lot of unsung skills (developed over many decades from life, mistakes, OJT and sel-learning).

This is going on everywhere. The Chili’s restaurant we went to tonight in Jax, FL closed early at 9 PM because they are short-staffed.

Company’s have been getting rid of older more experienced employees the last few years. It will take a few years before things start breaking that no one can fix because “ jim” was the guy who usually “ took care of that” and he retired. ... Ive never seen a company admit they should have kept jim.

My daughter told me about a recent trip to the hardware store. She knew what she needed but the only stock was above her reach. She started to look for assistance but there was none to be found. She went up front to check-out - still no one.
She spent 15 minutes in vain and finally out of frustration toppled the stack off the shelf. Fortunately it was only plastic bin boxes. Then she got to learn the self check-out because NONE of the cashiers showed up that day.
Years ago I told my electrical contractor buddy to advertise for high school kids as helpers (who would also ‘learn the business’ too). He was willing to pay double minimum wage. No takers - the country is shot. When I was in high school, hell, I would have paid the contractor to work for him, and would have most of my friends.

Why should you work when in your 20s 30s or even 40s you can either show off on Onlyfans, become Instagram or Tik Tok Famous.
Why work when Prevs and Losers will actually send you money?
