HUNGRY McDonald's customers were met with a brutally honest sign explaining why their Big Mac and fries might be a little late.
The branch in the United States went viral after a small yellow sign that said their staff "didn't want to work anymore".
Above the order here instructions, the sign read: "We are short-staffed. Please be patient with the staff that did not show up. No one wants to work anymore."
The blunt note was spotted by Brittany Jade on TikTok and posted a video of the hilarious sign.
"Y'all. Our McDonald's is savage AF," Brittany wrote in the caption.
In the comments to the video, many have shown their support to over-worked staff.
One person wrote: “So true, don’t get mad at the ones there working. They aren’t the reason it’s short-staffed.”

Thee is no such thing as a labor shortage, there are only wage shortages.

Labor is a product, you can't set a price for it. You have to pay the going rate.

If the next generation coming up wants to work...they have plenty of money making opportunities because of the woke millenials who don’t. Time will tell if that is the case. But they could make serious bank and leave the millenials in the dust.

McDonald’s actually has a program so that “fry cooks” can move up in the organization and even go to McDonald’s school to learn about people skills and managing staff.
There are stories about corporations where people move up from the mail room to the boardroom but that doesn’t happen these days even with a degree and 20 years dedication in an office environment.
But McDonald’s still boasts that you can work up to higher positions in the company and not just at a franchise (because they do move talent).
Whatever happened to the guy who had orgasms at that townhall meeting with Obama thanking him profusely and complaining about being stuck at a fast food job for 5 years without a raise.
Stupid myopic suggestion. Don’t change the demographics. Just pay Americans $20.00/hr.

Agreed. Beginning to see the same thing in construction management. Lots of young college grads that only know “book learning” without experience or work ethic. Now that things are opening up again, I get called at least 3 - 4 times a week from recruiters looking for experienced PMs and Superintendents.
