HUNGRY McDonald's customers were met with a brutally honest sign explaining why their Big Mac and fries might be a little late.
The branch in the United States went viral after a small yellow sign that said their staff "didn't want to work anymore".
Above the order here instructions, the sign read: "We are short-staffed. Please be patient with the staff that did not show up. No one wants to work anymore."
The blunt note was spotted by Brittany Jade on TikTok and posted a video of the hilarious sign.
"Y'all. Our McDonald's is savage AF," Brittany wrote in the caption.
In the comments to the video, many have shown their support to over-worked staff.
One person wrote: “So true, don’t get mad at the ones there working. They aren’t the reason it’s short-staffed.”

They just want to bang on the drum all day.
One point: If the government is going to take your overtime earnings, why bother working for it?
There ya go. I did farm work on my cousins farm also. It felt good, grown up to be working. I think a bucket of cherries as 50 cents, bucket of apricots was a quarter, Dried trays a buck. The irrigation and the rest was a great farm lunch.
Two summers I worked at a Tannery when they had training for students to learn maintenance , carpentry, welding, all the cool skills.
I enjoyed having my own real bank account, saving, learning and the old guys telling me if I stick with it they have a friend who will hire me.
Yes set a price AND a working non hostile environment.
When you can make 60g a year for sitting on your ass, why work?
Yes...it’s the society we have now....everybody’s an activist clamoring for more of more....never finding contentment nor gratitude in what they have.
I didn’t have any money as my Father died when I was young but I understood I must work for any spending money.
I survived and now I need to bail out a major construction project on power systems.
Life is interesting.
“liked their sausage mcmuffin but they cut back their breakfast hours (used to be all day).”
You need to get to know the manager. Mine still makes me breakfast anytime as long as they have product. Otherwise breakfast ends at 10:30 on the kiosks and 1:00 if ordered at the counter.
I was wondering the same thing.
Are they trying to be double-reverse woke?
Pay more, that’s what the border jumpers are for.
And I ain’t gonna train em!
Well said.
One of my brothers’ friend is working at McDonald’s. He likes it so far...
This explains why most of the fast food in my area are drive-thru only and have not reopened for dine-in customers.
Even then some are a clown show. I sat for 10 minutes in front of the window before my food was ready. There were three workers and they were cutting up with each other, chatting, and looking at their phones for the whole time.
You don’t know the millennial generation, sport.
I’ve been trying to figure out what the “SM” is. See it all over when reading about Ph. Is it a store chain? My gf from Davao but haven’t asked her yet.
I was in Monahans,Texas, awhile back....they were paying 15/hr to start out
Everything they tell us is the opposite of the truth.
Makes it kinda simple, really.
LOL! I love cranky know it alls like you. And of course, you won't bitch if it costs $110 for you and the wife to have the early bird special at the local café so they can pay the wages unskilled losers are willing to work for, right?
What a blow hard.
“He has to pay more or go out of business. Sorry. Too bad.”
You do realize we’re not talking free market here, right? Businesses are not competing against other businesses for employees, they’re competing against the government giving away free money. You think that might distort the market a little bit?
Why has not one single reporter followed these groups of people In these caravans Coming up through Mexico?
They clearly did not walk 3000 miles. How are they charging their cell phones? Who is feeding them and providing water? And where are they going to the bathroom?
I did hear one story, early on, where they all got off buses, walked for a mile and then got back on buses. But that was months ago and never again.
