A police officer in Virginia has been fired after pointing a gun at, and pepper spraying, a black US army lieutenant during a traffic stop.
Army Second Lieutenant Caron Nazario is wearing his uniform in bodycam footage of the incident, filmed in December.

I’ve watched it three times the LT. is looking to make money on a law suit. This is BS and a set up. The cops didn’t do anything wrong.
I witched the video 3 times, The words “seat belt” are never used by any party.
It's all about the $ettlement.
I’ll bet 100% of Freepers would have complied with the police orders yet they are siding with a AA LT trying to score money in a law suit.
I would have put my gun away and pulled that asshole out of the car and that would have been that.
All you Freepers criticizing these two cops in this situation need to go on record as saying they would have done exactly as the Chocolate LT did here.
THE DRIVER NEVER SAID A WORD ABOUT HIS SEAT BELT.
“It’s all about the $ettlement”
And it couldn’t be more obvious.
If the cop were female they would have been lauding how brave she was.
Oh yeah, he’s a millionaire. Jackpot winner.
You are saying you would not have listened and stayed in the vehicle? I don’t believe it. You would have gotten out if the vehicle like everyone else here on FR would have.
I am saying the minute your hands were out of site and especially when you brought them back up to open the car door there was a very good chance with the state he was in that he would have cut loose. Their was a far better chance the that the situation would have deescalated as long as he could see the suspect’s hands. You don’t believe I know, but just consider this by leaving his hands in sight the cop switched to non lethal force to make him comply and why I say because the cop could see his hands. Pepper sprayed is far better that getting shot.
Doesn’t have to be. He’s clearly wearing a belt. You clearly have to unbuckle to get out of the car. You can’t do that without lowering your hands.

You must have had the audio on mute, or did not watch the full video. The officers commanded it many times, and at around the 18:40 35 time stamp Lt Nazario says it twice.
This is BBC doing a Trayvon Martin NBC doctored recording race-baiting job.
Some of the “freepers” here are leftwing snotballs with a thin paint conservative disguise who think this is clever.
The cop should sue for wrongful firing.
}{€££ the pos will probably get a gold star sticker and a instant hire bonus...
The fib’s only hand out pencils with the applications.
Correct.

On the record, not only would I but I have had to, more than once. In my last encounter, it was one officer shouting for me to not move and keep my hands up where he could see them and the other officer was telling me to turn the bike off and get off the motorcycle. At gunpoint.
Fortunately, the officers in my case quickly realized that:
1. The motorcycle was already off.
2. They were issuing conflicting instructions and changed so that only one officer was giving orders.
3. I wasn’t going to move a millimeter until they sorted that out.
That said, I was then approached by one officer, covered by the other, and the approaching officer then gave clear instructions to get me off the bike and actually listened when I replied to his orders, such as indicating that I had to use two hands to remove my helmet.
It ended up that I vaguely knew one of the officers. I was rather unhappy that he couldn’t tell the difference between a red Harley Davidson chopper with a flame job (the BOLO vehicle) and a black Honda sport bike. I didn’t sue over it, but then I had gotten a slightly better and more intelligent grade of officer, I wasn’t pepper sprayed, and neither officer told me I should have been afraid to follow their orders.
