I’m happy to say I didn’t buy one milligram of cleaning product during this whole scam.

It’s been a couple months, but the hand wipe dispensers at the major food stores have disappeared here. They have known about this.

Fear. The list of things they have used to control the sheeple keeps increasing.

“Once the myths of surface transmission of a respiratory virus are unleashed, it will be hard to go back to normal.”

That is the problem with safety measures, once begun in view of some unquantified risk, who will be the first to take certain risk in saying they are not required? “Seat belts save lives.” Who can argue with that? How many will no longer leave the house without their cell phone?

The science apparently changed

It always does.

Unfortunately, the left has rendered the term, "THE SCIENCE" useless (except as a cudgel with which to beat conservatives and charge them with knuckle-dragin-itis).

Science that is based on repeatable evidence is useful. "Science" that has an agenda costs a fortune, ruins lives and achieves only political ends.

Shameful!

Most all public “official” “authorities” are like the emperor who has no clothes on. They DESERVE to be questioned and questioned hard.

The virus lands all over you and you think a mask that cannot filter a virus is going to protect you? You touch any surface including yourself and you should dead right?
We have been lied to from the beginning. If a democrat was president last year, the virus would hardly make the news but the democrats wanted to get rid of Trump and Trump fell for their scam.

CDC Covid-19 Survival Rates as of 10/2020
Age 0-19 — 99.997%
Age 20-49 — 99.98%
Age 50-69 — 99.5%
Age 70+ — 94.6%

Pandemic Death Toll by % of Population Year of Population Estimate
Black Death 51.0% 1300
Plague of Justinian 19.1% 500
Smallpox 12.1% 1500
Antonine Plague 2.6% 200
Spanish Flu 2.5% 1919
The Third Plague 1.0% 1850
HIV/AIDS 0.7% 1981
COVID-19 0.03% 2021 (as of March 15)

Most of us here on FR identified this as a scam early on.

CDC silently replaces its page on fomite transmission of covid [from the “We’ve ALWAYS Been At War With East Asia Department”]

“Quantitative microbial risk assessment (QMRA) studies have been conducted to understand and characterize the relative risk of SARS-CoV-2 fomite transmission and evaluate the need for and effectiveness of prevention measures to reduce risk. Findings of these studies suggest that the risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection via the fomite transmission route is low, and generally less than 1 in 10,000, which means that each contact with a contaminated surface has less than a 1 in 10,000 chance of causing an infection.”

Wow, now that REAL science has been done the FAKE propaganda “science” has been blown up... go figure ... so, my question is, why in the world does ANYONE believe anything the fascist media and their “experts” say anymore?

Does the “science” explain what happened in Cuomo’s nursing homes?

The supposedly-recovered COVID returnees were killing everybody else.

Either they were still infectious or their stuff was. I always assumed the crap they brought with them was probably loaded with the virus.

Remember, even if the “science” says 1-in-10,000 chance (per exposure), all you need is the “1” and you’ve got a coughing or silent locus of a new outbreak. The “gain” the chicoms were angling for was transmisivity.

“So much for the many billions spent on cleaning products, the employees and the time, and hysteria and frenzy, the rise of touchlessness, and gloves, the dousing of the whole world. The science apparently changed. Still it will be years before people get the news and act on it. Once the myths of surface transmission of a respiratory virus are unleashed, it will be hard to go back to normal.

Fortunately the New York Times did some accurate reporting on the CDC update, quoting all kinds of experts who claim to have known this all along.”

“Finally,” said Linsey Marr, an expert on airborne viruses at Virginia Tech. “We’ve known this for a long time and yet people are still focusing so much on surface cleaning.” She added, “There’s really no evidence that anyone has ever gotten Covid-19 by touching a contaminated surface.”

My wife was a good RN most of her adult life and basically retired about 5 years ago.

At first, she had us bring in our Walmart orders or Costco deliveries into our laundry room.

Everything, but items needing to be put in a refrig or freezer were placed on a clean and sterilized shelf to get sun light for a few hours. Also, she sprayed sealed items with a germ/virus spray.

I didn’t argue. I just wore my “Really” face during these wasted actions.

In the meantime, she and other RNs in the family and RN friends discussed this issue. Most said that was a waste of time, money and effort.

Our grand daughter, who will finish her RN degree in a few weeks and was working in an ICU 2-3 shifts a week, told her that was a waste of time.

A few weeks, later we started bringing the groceries into
our kitchen and then put on the counter or kitchen table before putting them in the frig, freezer, cabinets or shelves in the sunlight.

Months, later we are still alive!

Now they’re saying social distancing is a crock, masks don’t work and now you can’t catch it at Wally World. So, how is it transmitted?

Most of the time when I stop at a fast food place, I see employees scrubbing their surroundings. Everyone is Felix Unger now.
Is it just me or do you think it might be unwise to scrub the floor where you’re actively cooking meals? It must kick up a lot of bacteria.
Wash your phone, your groceries, wash, wash, until your hands are so raw that it’s much easier for a virus to get through your skin!
And wear that useless mask too! A friend of mine has picked up a bad case of acne in the past year — 40hr week, retail, masks mandatory.

I never understood why people started hoarding cleaning products. Don’t most people have bleach, ajax, lysol, etc. under the sink?
When all of this nonsense started my coworkers were hysterical about finding wipes. I said, make your own, there’s some videos with good ideas like cutting a roll of paper towels in half, using an empty coffee can,and a simple recipe for a cleaning solution.
They looked at me like I was crazy, I said you should already have these things in your house! Paper towels are wasteful, use dishcloth for cleaning around the house, save the paper towels for when you’re out and about. Again, the looked at me like I was crazy.

Our local grocery installed a mini car wash for grocery carts. Employees pushed the carts through while they were sprayed with disinfectant. The device now sits idle. I personally am sick of all the plexiglass that separates you from any personal interaction ...reminds me of visitation rooms in prisons.

However, the masks, worn by the faithful and brainwashed as assiduously as magic amulets, are particularly irksome. Wearing them outdoors is ridiculous and when most are worn improperly, rarely if ever washed or even changed they are of dubious value at best.
