Another wholly unhelpful day of testimony for the prosecution as they continue to present their case-in-chief. Reasonable doubt has been sewn many times over by the defense and they haven't even had their crack at it yet. I think it's fair to say that the state hasn't even demonstrated probable cause for Chauvin's arrest much less provided ANY evidence of murder or negligent homicide.

Will that matter to this jury?

Who’s willing to take a bet that if there is “reasonable doubt” and he’s not guilty, cities will burn? Big liberal cities.

Just decriminalize counterfeit money so this can never happen again.

I think 2nd and 3rd degree murder can be thrown out without much effort. The manslaughter charge (2nd degree) is the only potential charge. Even in that case...it’s a very weak case that has been constructed.

The testimony of Chuanin’s superiors is disgusting. What working cop in their right mind thinks that their commanders have their backs or will protect them? The Left does not have to defund the police, they are disintegrating the police. You can’t have an effective crime stopping, community policing organization if their is no respect bor trust in command and policies.

I occasionally watch the Tim Pool daily news show where he has guests and they sit around a table discussing the issues of the day...

He’s been all over this trail and repeatedly saying the State is making the case for the Defense instead of proving a crime was committed....

Yesterday they had Brandon Tatum on, a Black Former Cop and now staunch conservative Trump supporter who was saying there is a very good chance Chauvin walks out a free man...

Show trial that's all.

Will it matter to the mob?

Didn’t they mean “I ain’t ate no drugs.”? Of course folks have been warned that there is only one verdict acceptable. So, it will either be angry riots or celebratory riots. Either way somethings gonna burn.

I have a different take on this whole show trial: the prosecution really didn't want to press this, but pressure from the extreme Left forced their hand. The result is simple: the prosecution is playing this comedy in the most effective way -- playing it straight. No trumped up evidence, no lying witnesses, no spin on direct examination.

Just letting the facts -- ALL the facts -- speak for themselves. And the defense picking up on forensic evidence not originally collected by the State makes for a problem for any honest juror to appease the rabid Left.

Not to mention the Perry Mason moment(s) of flogging the State with the State's own expert witness. (Witnesses?)

It doesn’t make any difference how bad the prosecutor is or how empty the prosecution’s case is.

The jury verdict has already been predetermined.

So in short, it again looks like the endlessly parroted media narrative may not quite have been accurate?

Color me shocked. /s

I was watching the trial on a patriot YouTube channel that I seem to have lost the name of. Does anyone have any recommendations for viewing other than the mainstream RAT offerings?

Everybody just STFU.

The cop put his knee on a cuffed perp.

He posed NO ADDITIONAL THREAT.

Chauvin was a retard.

Just back off and put him in the back of the patrol car.

Hell, tether his feet too.

Chauvin murdered the guy regardless.

End of story.

Excellent article. I don’t trust paid expert witnesses. But why would the prosecution use an expert who never testified in State or federal court before and from California.

Nelson is very good.

CNN trying desperately to present the opposite:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(CNN)The special agent who led the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension investigation into George Floyd’s death struggled to make sense of a short phrase Floyd said last May as Derek Chauvin kneeled on him.
Senior Special Agent James Reyerson was shown a clip from Minneapolis Police body-camera footage of Floyd saying something while handcuffed and in a prone position on the ground.
“Did it appear that Mr. Floyd said, ‘I ate too many drugs?” defense attorney Eric Nelson asked Reyerson.
“Yes, it did,” Reyerson said.
After a short break, the prosecution played for Reyerson a longer clip of the video that provided the lead up to that comment.
“Having heard it in context, are you able to tell what Mr. Floyd is saying there?” prosecutor Matthew Frank asked.
“Yes, I believe Mr. Floyd was saying, ‘I ain’t do no drugs,” Reyerson replied.
The testimony came on the eighth day of Chauvin’s criminal trial as several investigators and forensic scientists testified about what they found at the crime scene, including Floyd’s blood stains and a few white pills containing fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Earlier in the day, a Los Angeles Police Department use-of-force expert hired by the prosecution testified that Chauvin had used excessive and deadly force on Floyd when none was needed.
____________________________________________________
Probably not, but yet again we now find out that the media/Democrats lied to us. I was a lone voice on FR early on in this case telling everybody to reserve judgment, etc. Unfortunately, I haven’t followed the case that closely because of work. My question is: Was Chauvin’s knee on the BASE of the neck (or shoulder area) the whole time or was that for just part of the time? If his knee was indeed not on Floyd’s neck, FREEPERS should riot and burn down the Washington Post and Ben Crump’s office.
The lab results from Floyd’s blood draws will confirm fentanyl and other opioid overdose leading to respiratory suppression— NOT caused by the officer.
The BLM manipulation of what they had to have known was false accusation of Chauvin is the true national CRIMINAL act- costing billions in property and human loss. THAT is the story that should be reported, but MSM will never. It was organized LEFTIST CRIME. And the principal leadership should be pursued to imprisonment and more if proven capital crimes committed.
