Five people are dead, including two children, following a shooting inside a home in Rock Hill, South Carolina, according to the York County Sheriff's Office. A sixth person was also shot and has serious injuries. The suspect, authorities said, has been apprehended. "We have IDed the person we feel is responsible for the shooting on Marshall Rd. We found him in a nearby house. There is no active threat to the community," the York County Sheriff's Office tweeted. The sheriff's office identified the victims a Dr. Robert Lesslie, 70, and his wife, Barbara Lesslie, 69, their two grandchildren and James Lewis, 39, who was working at the home Wednesday when he was shot. All deaths are being investigated as homicides, according to the York County Coroner's Office. Authorities have not released the suspect's name nor have released a motive. "We hope to share more information about this tragic event as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience," the sheriff's office said. Deputies were sent to a home near 4400 Marshall Road around 4:45 p.m. ET Wednesday about a report of a shooting involving multiple individuals. That is when authorities discovered the victims. Rock Hill is just across the Catawba River from me. I will be going over Rock Hill this weekend to do some shopping with Mrs. P.
Phillip Adams former Jets player. His parents live on same road. He was a patient of the Dr. Adams killed himself. 32 yrs old.
He did suffer from concussions.
Perhaps shooter thought that doc had opiates in the house? Or wanted the doc to write opiate prescription and he refused?

Agreed and add this is a twofer for the left. Take a look at the comments posted to the ‘nbecile link above and you’ll see the “guns to easy get in this country” talk percolating.
As an aside, I am interested to read from someone with authoritative medical knowledge (neurologist/neurosurgeon) comment regarding the incidence of murder/homicide at the hands of brain injury patients. From personal interaction with many combat vets with TBIs, I have not seen violent behavior yet I recognize this is anecdotal and not scientific. Just curious.
At any rate, as r@hmmy chitown don would say, “never let a good crisis go to waste,” the left would dutifully follow thorugh.

I didn’t know the size of the property, but it was big enough for the doctor’s livestock. Most of the bodies were found inside the house. The nearest neighbors might not have heard any gunfire. If they did, they might not have thought anything about it. This is South Carolina. We shoot here. There’s a lot more target practice and shooting of wildlife than there is criminal use of firearms.
