Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) wrote a letter asking Major League Baseball (MLB) Commissioner Rob Manfred to “relinquish his personal membership at Georgia’s Augusta National Golf Club” after MLB’s boycott of Georgia over their new voter ID laws.

And, then require you to show ID when getting your tickets or at the gate.
For me, this isn’t really about Rubio as much as it is about a specific tactic

We have too many people here focusing on the wrong issue.
Just because Rubio is an idiot doesn’t mean that his tactic is wrong.
a letter is will have a lot more impact than raising hell with a 100,000 rioters! and anyway we don’t have an Antifa wing of the conservative party.
One previous poster said that we need to go after these libtards personally. A membership in Augusta is a very precious commodity.
I'm suggesting Camden, NJ.
ML/NJ
Won’t watch MLB anymore.
Get woke go broke !!!
Hypocrites !!!
“The other side fights with agitators, protestors, etc and our side sends letters.”
That’s something to brag about. Just because the other side behaves like tin-pot despots is no reason to descend to their level.
Oh yeah. Sure. And the Washington Generals might end up beating the Globetrotters one day too.
“I am under no illusion you intend to resign as a member from Augusta National Golf Club. To do so would require a personal sacrifice, as opposed to the woke corporate virtue signaling of moving the All Star Game from Atlanta.”
Hopefully that will clarify the misleading title of the article.....
Rubio declined to vote against bringing Trump’s first impeachment to trial. Not voting against it is effectively voting for it. He later voted against it when the blowback from his treachery threatened his seat. But there is no doubt about his gutlessness for voting for The Big Steal. There was no wavering there. Rubio’s a prevaricator, just like Rand Paul. Both are unreliable, Janus-faced liars. GOPee Delenda Est!
Milwaukee would be a good choice, based on wanting to honor Hank Aaron.
But Wisconsin has a voter ID law. How would Rob Manfred justify going to a different state which has the “evil” , to liberals, voter ID law?
Even Rubio is starting to fight back!
