Good post. Things are always spiraling upward, and nobody can ever really see where they are ultimately going.
I have to admit that in recent years, I have sometimes felt alienated from the young people today – especially the females. But I’ve also met many solid, down-to-Earth ones.
The older generation has complained about the younger throughout human history; my favorite quotes in this vein are from Socrates and from the ancient Egyptian graffitti purportedly found by Napolean (and which may both be apocryphal), suggesting that the younger generation are going to the dogs:

Right now I am on my tablet, but perhaps you are right on a desktop; of course that info is available by simply clicking on the poster's name.
The real issue is that the point of the original discussion was a number ranking of posters in order of when they started on FR. The dates mentioned here are registration dates, which started some time after FR was initiated. Those number rankings were apparently discontinued some time ago. The registration dates are probably roughly indicative of the order of joining FR, less so with us earliest posters.
FR was started by JimRob after a falling out with the older Whitewater Bulletin Board. Jim's instincts proved fabulously successful. FR is a player, or will be until the tyrants find a way to de-platform it.

It's obvious that our signup dates are still in the database; so JR could snatch all our names and dates and sort them in EXCEL.
Of course; without a signup_TIME we'd only be able to guess what order the folks on say - June 6, 2011 - signed up, but at least there'd be a ranking of sorts.
We could then belong to a special group, like THESE guys!
I have to say that I am sorry. I was in considerable pain yesterday and trying to put the best face on it for Easter. I got the two different topics mixed up. I was just curious about those old number rankings; not really important.
