President Biden’s dog Major on Monday afternoon bit another employee, who then required medical attention.
First Lady Jill Biden’s press secretary Michael de Rosa confirmed the "nip" in a statement to Fox News. "Major is still adjusting to his new surroundings and he nipped someone while on a walk. Out of an abundance of caution, the individual was seen by WHMU and then returned to work without injury."
The encounter took place on the White House South Lawn Monday. CNN first reported the bite, adding that the employee worked for the National Park Service.
Major was seen being walked by a White House employee on a leash Monday afternoon.

Good Doggie!
Reduction in grade, from Field Grade Officer, (Major) to Junior Officer (Captain). Forfeit all pay and benefits for 90 days.
That’s the story, but it was probably Hunter.
Major’s return to the WH after a timeout in Delaware had been reported a couple of weeks ago.
“I thought the damn dog was taken to DELAWARE!!! Are we being LIED to AGAIN??”
The Dog was for two weeks of “Training”. It looks like they need to find a new Trainer or the Dear Dr. needs to tell JoeK to shut up and eat his pudding cup “the dog isn’t coming back for a third shot”
Jao needs to train his dogs to sniff and paw...not bite.
my dog will nip at me if she really doesnt want to do something that I am trying to get her to do. what is amazing about this is that she knows just how little pressure to use not to harm me.
she will also turn her head side to side to warn me away..usually this involves me trying to get her to take a bath. I have to wait until I can coax her.
Are the dogs allowed to run free in the WH or what? They should be in the residence at all times unless they’re being walked. Or better yet, at Camp David or home in Delaware like we were told they were going.
Read the article.
That is a sure sign that the dog’s owner is senile.
The only dogs that bit me as a kid were a German Shepherd and a dachshund. I guess Germans don’t like the Irish. 🤣
Does this dog have hip displasia? That can definitely cause behavioral issues based on the amount of pain.
And it can just be that the dog is old and is not adapting well to the new environment. Why don’t they just keep the dog in the family quarters and and have one or two people work with the dog?
They even spin the dog’s misdeeds. I’ll bet they never treated a Republican dog so well.
I’m a big dog person-don’t really care for small dogs-and I’ve owned two German Shepherds and love that breed-they were trusted to guard my cub when she was little-they are loyal and protective of their human pack members-AKA owners-and they need attention and love from their Alpha human-this poor dog is obviously not getting that attention from Biden-if he was, Joe would be walking and interacting with the dog himself-not handing the leash off to a staffer, treating the dog like a prop/self-propelled lawn ornament instead of a pet. Sounds like the way the Clintons treated their pets at the WH-just props to make them look like nice, normal people who liked animals...
I’ll bet someone was teasing or yelling at the dog, making it feel threatened-the dog needs a loving, caring owner to be a companion and protector to-that is a German Shepherd’s job-they were bred for that-I hope someone volunteers to give the dog a proper home with a proper owner-the Bidens are certainly not the right ones...
That is the truth!
Not the dog’s fault-you can’t hand a German Shepherd-or any other guard breed dog-to some stupid staffer to walk if that person knows nothing about that breed of dog-the Bidens are obviously stupid pet owners who need a poodle or a Yorkie-not a big dog...
It was the wind.
Hey-both of my cats are insulted-they said they would never belong to a democrat...
I had a German Shepherd who bit a neighbor’s friend. They were outside visiting and my dog went behind him and bit him through his jeans on the calf.
Took her to a vet to have her put down. Vet said I made a smart decision saying the first bite is free. Plus, you’re now harboring a dangerous animal.
