The 1,100 foot-long 9943 Apophis will fly by the Earth on April 13, 2029, at just under 20,000 miles above the surface, and will be visible without binoculars or telescopes.
Earth is safe from a potential calamity-causing asteroid for the next 100 years, NASA announced on Friday.
The announcement clears up fears that had lingered since 2004, when the asteroid 9942 Apophis was identified as one of the most hazardous potential asteroids that could strike the planet. However, this has now been ruled out thanks to a growing understanding of the asteroid and its orbit by astronomers, as well as new radar observations using precise orbit analysis.
And good thing, too. At an estimated 1,100 feet (340 meters) in diameter, the asteroid was set to veer close to the planet in 2029. Later assessments pushed back this date to 2036, and again until 2068. Now, there is a high degree of confidence among astronomers that there is no chance of it impacting Earth...

Now, I don’t know what this is (nor WHEN). But it is written:

And since the Word of God is always fulfilled, this will happen (someday).
Why is anyone concerned about 100 years from now when we are all going to die from climate change in 10 years?

Nothing has changed...
It is still visiting us in 2029, 2036, & 2068... (& beyond)
It will take just a slight encounter with another of those many, many as-yet-unobserved asteroids to nudge it’s trajectory...
20,000 miles is nothing in astronomical terms...
Remember, it doesn’t have to hit the earth... Just pass through the upper atmosphere to cause catastrophic damage... Just ask the Russians...
