The third stimulus checks were signed into law just a few short weeks ago by President Joe Biden, but millions of qualifying Americans have already received their direct payments from the IRS. That's a record time for stimulus payments, which took at least a week or two to start processing with the prior two stimulus packages under the former administration.
As of Wednesday, March 25, the IRS had issued payments to about 127 million qualifying Americans via direct deposit and paper checks. And, even more paper checks and debit cards will be on the way in the upcoming weeks.
These direct cash stimulus payments have helped to buoy the millions of Americans who are struggling to make ends meet due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But while this money is necessary for many to help cover empty bank accounts and essential bills, not everyone has received their payment yet. Millions of Americans are still waiting on their checks, even as talks of a fourth direct payment gain support from lawmakers. Buying votes. Look for them again in 2022. Since we are retired and on a fixed income, the money has been welcome, but, I would have rather the shutdown not happened and people had kept working. Considering that so much of the Dem base is the gimme class, you can expect more by midterms. I hope I’m wrong and they get wiped out in 22.

We were in numerous restaurants and businesses this weekend where the managers complained to us that so many people were out enjoying their stimulus checks and unemployment money that no one wanted to come into work.
Help Wanted signs everywhere but Congress still wants to hand out free money.
Eventually this will all collapse.
I guess math really isn't that hard when you get paid the same to not work as work.
The democrats are committed to tanking our economy while buttressing every communist regime out there . . . and I pretty much expect us to accept it like good little sheep.

It sure is. The first two stimulus went smooth. Biden can’t do anything right. Sadly the media has his back. A fourth stimulus will be very targeted I predict. I’d love to get one as I’ve decided we’re going down, I want something before the pain starts and since we get nothing from the government and gave the last 36 years. Why nor? Terrible outlook but I’ve given up worrying about the debt.
It’s going to collapse anyway. Might as well get something out of it.

Yes, we were out this weekend at restaurants that had help wanted signs and a sign to patrons apologizing for the slow service due to lack of employees...........
