During Wednesday’s CNN “New Day,” Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) sounded off on his recent back and forth with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) over the “theater” used by both sides of the aisle in reaction to the Boulder, CO shooting.
Blumenthal said the GOP is engaging in “theater” by “offering thoughts and prayers and then blocking real action that can save lives” as they push back on stricter gun laws. He emphasized the need for “federal action” to prevent future gun violence.

The democrats’ intent with gun control, is not about control of guns; it’s about control of people. It’s mostly about eventually banning all gun ownership, regardless of the type.
Once the 2nd amendment to the constitution is gone, democrats will have a clear road towards total control of the government and country. The 2nd amendment was not created for people’s protection against others who would do them harm, although that’s been a huge benefit. It was created for the protection of citizens against a dictatorial government. Democrats aim and intend to become that dictatorial government, and with gun ownership banned, there will be nothing to stop them.

If the Dems/Marxists/progressives actually cared about lives, would they not would ban (at least) late-term abortions and partial birth abortions? and...
Would they ever have permitted covid-positives to be ordered into care homes resulting in thousands of icky-horrible deaths? And would they stand by in silence while the practice was carried out for many weeks? And even after all that, would they not be demanding justice by charging the political perps criminally and civilly?
