MOSCOW — Russia recalled its ambassador to the United States and unleashed a storm of derision aimed at President Biden after he said in a television interview that he thought President Vladimir V. Putin was a killer.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry said late Wednesday that it had summoned its envoy in Washington, Anatoly I. Antonov, to Moscow “in order to analyze what needs to be done in the context of relations with the United States.”

Actually Biden mumbled Putin was a "cutie"....but it came out as "killer."
Russia might become America’s ally against the communists in office.
In retrospect it would have been a better idea to at least be allies with Russia after the fall of Soviet Union instead of constantly antagonizing them. Not that I particularly trust Putin

The New York Times conveniently left out the other comments made by Biden such as Putin has no soul and we would see very soon what consequences will befall Russia.
Russia is actually trivial in population, in GDP, in ability to manufacture salable export stuff.
Absent the nuclear capability, Russia is not a real threat
