Illinois Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D) is promoting an “Assault Weapons” ban and suggesting that she is doing so in order that her daughters can grow up in a country that will “protect them.”
Duckworth suggested that “Congress has a duty to act” on gun control and responded to Congressional refusal to pass more gun laws by saying, “enough is enough.”

Start by making the penalties for WRONGFUL use of a weapon sufficiently stern to either completely remove the perpetrator from free society, or the potential perpetrator who is considering or threatening the use of firearms, to embark upon a different course of action.
Difficulty in acquiring the use of firearms in no way deters the determined and dedicated criminal from carrying out a crime. But the near certainty that retribution would be swift and severe does give some pause.
Duckworth is merely the sock puppet of Durbin. She says everything he wants her to say.
Who woke up Tammy Duckworthless?? She is up for re-election in 2022 and probably thinks she needs to show her face once in a great while.
Duckworthless is very beatable if the Illinois GOP can find a decent candidate to run against her.
