'We're going to lose fast': U.S. Air Force held a war game that started with a Chinese biological attack
Yahoo News ^ | 3-10-2021 | James Kitfield

Last fall, the U.S. Air Force simulated a conflict set more than a decade in the future that began with a Chinese biological-weapon attack that swept through U.S. bases and warships in the Indo-Pacific region. Then a major Chinese military exercise was used as cover for the deployment of a massive invasion force. The simulation culminated with Chinese missile strikes raining down on U.S. bases and warships in the region, and a lightning air and amphibious assault on the island of Taiwan.

Glad i wasn’t the only one thinking that. Hundreds of thousands of illegals, monthly,to wipe out every trace of the white working class. Genetically speaking..4 generations can replace an entire people. Less, if they import some disease as happened to the Mayans, and the very first people on this continent. Gone.

How does a major invasion force between superpowers travel today?

One ICBM from a nuclear sub in the centroid of the naval force and POOF, no more naval invasion force. Nobody is going to complain about setting off a single nuke in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, so I am baffled anybody is seriously worrired about China sending a large flotilla across the Pacific. Not going to happen.

I don’t believe it is possible in the post-nuclear era for superpowers to engage in total war. All we do is go at each other in select 3rd world countries. Any more than that risks mutual assured destruction.

I am not seeing a real shooting war between China and the USA in the post-nuclear world.

What am I missing?

China’s most effective army is the American Left.

China does not have to lift a finger.

Well said.

When the barbarians are actually at the gate (in the age of cyberspace, they are literally already at the gate), depend on the left to open those gates and invite the barbarians in.

But in the world of cyberspace the Chinese have no need to actually physically occupy the United States or any country, they simply need to control cyberspace. Our defense against China does not depend on how many aircraft carriers we can interpose nor does it depend on ICBMs, rather it depends on the will of the American people to be free and our capacity to even understand the concept and the existential imperative to risk all to have it and keep it.

NBC — as in Nuclear, BIOLOGICAL & Chemical. Have been at the crux of war planning for over 50 years. I hardly think that the Chinese are going to do something that the Soviets refused to do.

I think the opening gambit to seize Taiwan will be information & economic based. As Biden & Nancy are busy spending our grandchildren into the poor house I hardly think the Chinese will have much heavy-lifting to do.

If Dr. Tenpenny is correct and the covid vaccine is used as a binary weapon, then a secondary or tertiary dose could act synergistically to wipe out all of those who took it.

Once FDA-approved EVERYONE in the military will be forced to take this experimental/never before used on humans/unnecessary gene therapy.

What could possibly go wrong? Go wrong? Go wrong?

"Must wonder if the Cold War Veterans who know how to fight a real war will step forward when needed..."

Cold War vet here..'63-'84. So very, very much to say and historical perspective to offer. Not going to do it now. Suffice to say the future does not look good..in fact it looks cataclysmic in my view.

Nobody is ever going to nuke anyone again.

One nuclear bomb would have ended the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Afghanistan and Iraq wars. But none were used. Why? No one has the guts or the stupidity to do that.

Because there is no scenario where a nuclear power pulls the trigger first.

People get mad at me when I say this, but it's true. The United States has peaked in military capacity during the Vietnam War, most crucially in terms of human capital. It simply doesn't have the ability to call up hundreds of thousands, if not a million men who are ready for combat anymore.

By the army's own estimates, at least 40% of Generation Z conscripts would fail the medical board or physical standards, and it would take OVER a YEAR for them to be ready to pass Basic Training.

The US did a good job in repairing itself to gear up for Iraq, and it was probably the closest we got to reaching peak performance, but now our equipment is worn out and most OIF/OEF vets I know bailed out of the military 10 years ago because they saw what was coming. Nobody wants to die for Drag Queen Story hour.

You combine this with the fact that our defense industries rely on China for key resources and manufacturing and this all spells out catastrophe.

Who wants a highly functioning standing army when secession and a possible war with the Federal Govt is likely?

Exactly, the government is already in a frsgile state and foreign wars have toppled many such regimes. Especially when things go really bad against what the public's expectations are.

The public isn't going to absorb Vietnam War levels of casualties, they didn't even do that in the 1960s with a healthy economy.

Never underestimate your opponent or overestimate yourself.

Wise counsel and which is ignored in this case. One factor that is ignored is the character of today's soldier. 71% of young people are ineligible for the military. The Army dropped grenade throwing as a requirement to graduate because new recruits could not throw far enough. “We are finding that there are a large number of trainees that come in that quite frankly just physically don’t have the capacity to throw a hand grenade 20 to 25 [82 feet] to 30 meters." Also, there is the Intellectual Decline of the Army Officer Corps. The size of the U.S. military in 2017 was half of what it was in 1990, and in general I think many signed up for the benefits rather than patriotism. 16% were women and racial and ethnic minorities made up 43%, and a poll from the Military Times and Syracuse University's Institute for Veterans and Military Families conducted in July 2020, 49.9 percent of 1,018 active-duty military respondents had an unfavorable view of the president, compared to about 38 percent who had a favorable view. That poll showed Biden with a 4-percentage-point lead over Trump
