All it takes to be a millionaire in Venezuela is a few American pennies: the beleaguered South American country’s economy is so bad, they’re introducing a million bolivar note worth roughly 53 cents.
Venezuelans once again fleeing on foot as troubles mount According to a statement from the country’s central bank, Venezuela will also be printing 200,000 and 500,000 bills along with the 1,000,000 bills.
The move comes as hyperinflation has made smaller bills superfluous and worthless – and most citizens are “turning to the U.S. dollar for everyday transactions,” Bloomberg notes, adding “About 66 percent of transactions across the country are (now) estimated to be made in foreign currency.”

Steve Martin’s screed’s becoming truer every day
Only if you're a Democrat.
That was two revaluations ago. In 2008 they had a 1000 to 1 change and in 2018 they had a 100,000 to 1 change. So between those and the big bills now they've had about a 5 trillion times devaluation.
I wish I had bought a stack of those when they were cheap. I haven’t checked the latest eBay price but the collectors value has gone up. The risk back then as that 100T wasn’t the last and they printed 1 or 10 quadrillion dollar bills which became the big collectors’ item.
