Possibly a good way for patriots to challenge the federal government and protect their 2nd Amendment (2A) rights at the same time is this.
Pro-2A patriots, in addition to continuing to support 2A, also need to argue that the states have never expressly constitutionally given the feds the specific power to make peacetime restrictive gun laws, and many other laws and actions that they make and do.
Ironically, the 14th Amendment gives Congress the specific power only to STRENGTHEN constitutionally enumerated rights, including 2A.
Pro-2A patriots who accept this challenge, please report blank look responses to no federal power to make peacetime restrictive gun laws back to FR.

All these unconstitutional bills need to be nullified at the state and local levels. The states have a right and duty to to this. First and second amendment desperately need protection.
Arresting federal agents engaged in unconstitutional actions is what we need to see. Hopefully some states will form mutual enforcement compacts. I don’t think it would be too hard to find those in the local citizenry that would accept deputization to carry out enforcement of the state law and US constitution.
States with more than 50% gun ownership should be able to do this if draconian legislation turns gun owners into felons.

I ran into an old friend yesterday, big burly guy, metal worker ageing biker dude. I’ve never discussed any politics with him but felt sure he was very conservative just from our mutual friends.
