House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has requested a meeting with President Biden to discuss the rising numbers of unaccompanied migrant children at the U.S.-Mexico border, in a letter sent on Friday.
Why it matters: Biden is facing criticism from the right and the left as agency actions and media reports reveal spiking numbers of migrant children overwhelming parts of the U.S. immigration system. Recent data shows an average of 321 kids being referred to migrant shelters each day, as Axios reported.

Biden is hiding from the media due to his dementia, if he meets with McCarthy I hope McCarthy has a presser afterwards telling America just how bad Biden's lack of awareness is.
McCarthy is going to see how he can help.

I know Biden won’t be allowed to meet with McCarthy by himself. Maybe Jill will be there wearing a secret microphone to receive talking points.
Going to Joe Stolen for consultation and advice on ANYTHING is an exercise in futility.
“President” Stolen would not be able to string together a coherent sentence, and he won’t remember the encounter later on, either.
This is just for laughs or maybe a photo op.
He might as well be meeting with Mr. Potato Head. Sorry, I mean Non-Gender Specific Potato Head for all the good it will do him.

The chances of McCarthy holding a presser to talk about how feeble and lost the President is..... zero.
Meetings like this are all about optics, political advantage, and negotiation.
The GOPe, which certainly includes McCarthy, is pro-immigration on a massive scale because the Chamber of Commerce is for it. Constituents be damned.
This is political noise and optics, but if McCarthy did as you suggested he would never meet with Biden again and would be in a worse position to negotiate on other things.
Besides, the sooner we all admit that Biden is not really in charge of his “agenda” the better off we will be. These ideas do not come from Biden.... he is doing what those who selected him tell him to do regardless of his mental acuity at the time.
McCarthy better wash his hair.

If trump were in McCarthy’s shoes at such a meeting, he would be wearing a body cam and run the results on national TV.
He must be upset that not enough Mexicans are coming across the border.
Why not just pick a random person in a nursing home and talk to them?
Maybe McCarthy should talk to Valerie Jarret or whoever is really in charge.
It is a waste of time to talk to Biden.
Hell of an insurance policy, with Kamala Harris next in line.
The border states need to put their NG on the border and shut it down completely.
As for “Children”....these are mostly teenage males, and you know how teenage males are.
