Governor Jim Justice (R-WV) said Thursday on CNN’s “Inside Politics” that Govs. Greg Abbott (R-TX) and Tate Reeves (R-MS) scrapping mask mandates was “a macho thing.”
Anchor John King said, “You had an executive order last month, governor. You’re considering additional relaxation of some of the restrictions, but there is still a requirement for face coverings in West Virginia, in most places, especially indoors in crowds. Do you think it’s time to drop the mask mandate, or do you think the president is right?”

There’s a gun store in our area whose owner will not allow masks inside his store.
The state has gone after him a few times and he’s won.😊
That’s harsh. We just lived through a heck of an ice storm and the waters just receded from major flooding. I lived the last two weeks without electricity and of course that meant no water from my well. I bailed two gallons of water from 15 feet in 20 degree weather for myself and my neighbors. I do have indoor plumbing, heating and air conditioning in my log cabin est. 1823. I have an old WPA outhouse I keep for such times along with an old hand dug well which came in handy. Nobody here goes without a generator. Thankful I have a wood stove and plenty of wood to cut and split. We are resilient, proud and skilled here in West Virginia despite our governor who mixes his metaphors_ which can lead to some hysterical memes...and there was that time he dropped the f bomb in a coronavirus update!

There is a lot of REAL science indicating that COVID—like cruise ship noroviruses—is spread primarily be fecal to oral transmission.

Remember about a year ago when there were a few quickly buried stories about communities in the New England states that were going to start testing sewerage for COVID?

Now consider this: In many States (Pennsylvania and Ohio for sure) the mask mandates are explicit that those in restaurants MUST wear a mask INTO THE RESTROOM where of course that cloth will absorb all toilet odors and other zhit.

Then the patron MUST wear the zhit laden mask back into the restaurant so that with every exhale the patrons innocently eating pancakes can get a dose of the restroom zhit.
