It's time for news stations to do the responsible thing and stop putting Anthony Fauci on TV. Fauci is the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and advisor to presidents, including President Biden. Few dispute his qualifications. But a year into this pandemic, it's clear that his presence has been a muddling one for the country.
For starters, there are the mistakes. There have been many. And they've been disastrous.

Trump followed his advice. Fauci claimed he was never censored or pressured on his public comments then he threw Trump under the bus. He also admitted to lying to the American people about masks to protect supply for medical workers. And yet he’s the virtuous hero of the pandemic.
Birx was the one I respected, she was in the field, in the states, working on resource allocation and contact tracing. She ended up resigning because she dared visit her elderly parents.

Maybe Fauci should have his own TV show. If Joy Behar and Megan McCain can make millions of dollars spewing drivel and twaddle on The View so should Fauci.

In America TV programs you—don’t watch it.
Then millions of articles are written on it. Millions of videos discussing what he said. Millions of radio news reports. Then all politicians follow what he says. Then we have to deal with it. He doesn’t go away if you just don’t watch the tv

I made this sort of thing simple when I got rid of TV in ‘97. I see pictures of him occasionally in still pictures to click on to watch Youtube videos - that I don’t watch - but that’s about it.
I do know he said masks are pointless, so I don’t wear them. :)
Some Democrats have figured out they can’t go into 2022 in lockdowns or they’ll lose Congress for sure. Fauci isn’t getting on the playbook.

My definition of a fool is one who knows everything but has no idea what to do with what he knows.
Therefore even a highly educated person can fall under this definition.
Dr. Fauci is a prime example.
It seems Fauci and Biden are a good pair. As has been said of Biden, he has never been on the right side of a foreign policy issue in the last 5 decades. Fauci appears to have the same track record when it comes to matters of Covid19. He says what is expedient at the moment, thereby choosing “truth over facts.”
Then Biden came in. They expected Fauci to go back to his little office and if he said anything at all it would just be 'Our dear leader has saved us all! We celebrate his greatness!'. But Fauci likes being a star. And he can only be a star if there is a crisis. So the crisis must continue forever. Xiden don't wan that, he wants it to abate just enough that they can re-open approved industries while keeping their boots on all of us. And Fauci isn't playing along.
So the long knives are coming out, the media smear campaign is starting and I for one love it. I can't wait until they turn this guy into a pariah. It will be one accomplishment I will gladly credit Xiden with.
