In New York, Gov. Andrew Cuomo is under renewed scrutiny for his bungled nursing home policy and a subsequent coverup to avoid a Justice Department investigation. Questionable gubernatorial leadership, though, isn’t limited to the Empire State. Just look south to Pennsylvania, where...Tom Wolf, faces bipartisan concerns about his pandemic-era leadership.
Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, Wolf has failed to ensure health and economic security; rejected calls for transparency; refused to work with the legislature; and enacted mandates that harmed working Pennsylvanians....
This dysfunction began last March when the Wolf administration issued a memo requiring nursing homes to accept infected patients...
Incredibly, Wolf could have prevented this tragic outcome had he simply implemented Pennsylvania’s early protection plan for elderly care – yet the state failed to do so...
Over the following months, Pennsylvanians endured the governor’s unchecked executive power. Weeks of “slowing the spread” mutated into indefinite business shutdowns, travel restrictions, and needless regulations.
The consequences were profound. At one point, 30% of businesses – the second most in the nation – were forcibly closed...
As severe restrictions paralyzed Pennsylvania’s economy, Wolf rejected calls for transparency or legislative questions about his decision-making. When lawmakers or business owners sought any benchmark or rationale for economic lockdowns or sporadic reopening plans, Wolf was slow to respond or even provide data...
Wolf displays no signs of a course correction as the incompetence continues...
Pennsylvania’s experience shows that incompetence, pettiness, and inflexibility aren’t limited to the executive in Albany. With each passing day, state residents are losing patience – many, in fact, are moving elsewhere. When they pack their U-Hauls, they’re thinking of Wolf and the oppressive economic conditions that his policies created. The Keystone State, though, can begin the path to recovery by ensuring the next governor is looking out for working Pennsylvanians.

Pennsylvania Ping!
Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
Governor Witchmore is on the list, too.
C’mon man. The article doesn’t even mention the Michigan Medusa, aka Wretched Whitler.
Just about every Democrat can be accurately labeled “VILE”.
I read about them, but it’s so disgusting I seldom comment.
Others have already expressed my thought on things.
How many times can you express how disgusted you find them
to be. And then after doing it 50 times, you’ll still get
people asking why you didn’t do it today.
LOL
The GOP needs to press this issue more effectively: Democrats stink at actually managing anything more complicated than building a new bike path in the local park. I would rub that stupid California “bullet” train in their faces every day until the next elections.
Tommie the Commie still has the bar and restaurant industry struggling.
At least we have indoor dining.
But between 25% capacity, no seating at the bar, no alcohol served without a “meal”, and 10 PM last call life ain’t good.
“Governor Witchmore is on the list, too.”
Might as well toss in Newsome in California and Inslee in
Washington state for their inventive use of state funds they took off with without telling anyone...like the legislature.

Nothing was bungled. Cuomo killed people to get the numbers high enough so that the really stupid people wear masks and cower in fear.
Cuomo would have machine gunned seniors if that is what it took to get Biden into the WH.
“The GOP needs to press this issue more effectively: Democrats stink at actually managing anything more complicated than building a new bike path in the local park.”
The issue of PA governor Wolfe and his health secretary killing seniors in nursing homes and all around incompetence and massive crime in cities needs to become the issue. The only problem that needs corrected is a press that muzzles anything counter to the leftists.
“Cuomo not the only Dem governor with pandemic management lapses..”
Name one filthy democrat governor who wasn’t.
Wolf's Teflon Tannie former Health Secretary has been nominated as US Assistant Secretary of Health by Xio BuyDung.
The she/he/it is untouchable because any criticism is immediately libeled "transphobic".
Also RINO Gov Baker of MA killed 75+ US Veterans in Holyoke, MA.
Wolf & Levine’s geriatric genocide peaked in early June with nursing home deaths falling just a **** hair below 70% of total COVID deaths
Yesterday the percentage was at its all time low of 51.7%.
Still nearly 13,000 lives ended too soon.
We're talking Keystone Pipeline levels of pipelaying here...
While the press is left-wing, bad management isn’t necessarily an ideological issue - thus a portion of the press can be shamed into covering Democrat mismanagement. The key is for the GOP to be more unified in pressing this point and cementing - in the mind of a majority of voters - the idea that Democrats can never be trusted to manage anything (other than stealing votes).
I remember that as well, they called her “Stretchin Gretchen”.
Thanks. You can see the evil in her face. Not even a mask can hide it. A full niqab might.
I agree.
Ridiculous!
They folks don’t want to give away their power.
