"The Capitol Insurrection," "the Siege," "the armed insurrection in Washington, D.C." It's also been described as a "military-style formation" of "anti-government right-wing fringe organizations," "the storming of the Capitol," "the Capitol riot," "armed" protests, and even "a medieval battle."
And now it's been called "the Capitol bombing." A bombing! By no less an authority than the next attorney general, Merrick Garland.
This is getting ridiculous.
It was bad enough when someone decided to call it the "Capitol Insurrection." It was not a good choice. I don't know who it was – maybe Nancy Pelosi. But it was not appropriate to call it an "Insurrection." It never rose to the meaning of that word, which conjures up dire synonyms like "Insurgence," "Revolt" and "Rebellion."
Do any of those words sound like a conflict that took just one life – a woman who was gunned down by an as-yet-unnamed Capitol policeman? I hardly think so. Do any of those synonyms suggest a conflict that lasted only a few hours? No.

Heard my local (NBC) news station report just last week,” 5 people KILLED during the insurrection”. They have no shame.
The night Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in as a Supreme Court Justice, dozens of lefties stormed up the steps of the Supreme Court. They were banging on the doors, trying to get inside to disrupt the swearing in ceremony. They were trying to prevent a branch of the federal government from conducting business. Why wasn’t that called an “insurrection?”

I doubt ANYONE in the media who can identify an ‘insurrection’ that has occurred without anyone firing a gun (on the side of the ‘insurrectionists’), since the 14th Century.
To see this terminology (basically the language one uses if they plan on committing a genocide) tells me that there will be a huge amount of violence involved if the country is to go back to what it once was...but more likely will simply descend into yet another Leftist Fascist state, with the associated mass-killings, by their side.

There is a massive effort underway to browbeat the right into submission by getting them to, in exacerbation, to agree that they are white supremacists, feel guilty for their “white privilege”, and convince them that they are monsters who must pay a very heavy price for their “sins”
Getting people to beleive that the peaceful protests were violent insurrection is the goal of these gaslighters, and they are succeeding with the .of info peeps out there, but to the rest of us, we know the difference between the peaceful protests at the Capitol, and the vio.ent criminal acts of the domestic terrorists antifa and blm

You can ?ways tell who the rinos are. Those who fall in line with the left and who adopt their language. Many po.iticians cal. It an insurrection. They also claim the election was fair. They’ve tipped their hands for all to witness
I’ve always called illegals what they are, criminal invaders who have broken our ,aws and need to be deported so that those trying to bet in legally aren’t impeded, and who will have jobs when They do get here legally, ALTHOUGH, sad.y, nearly 70% are on some form of welfare programs, contrary to the claim by gee left that most just want to come here to work.

We were watching the live feed of the objections in the House chambers and it struck us both that nanzi vanished from the lectern/podium about 5 minutes before the crap went down. Odd eh? Merely a co-inkydink.

I completely agree with him. This is a ridiculous inflation of what was basically a small rowdy band ... incited by leftist agitators...who got out of control precisely because they had no leader.
It annoys me no end when I see even conservative commentators calling it an “insurrection” or even a “riot.” All this while BLM /Antifa genuine riots that cost lives and left hundreds of injuries and millions of dollars of damage are called “protests.”
I suspect that if people on the right really wanted to or planned to stage an “insurrection,” Nancy Pelosi would be hiding out in some non-extradition country. But that’s probably why she made DC an armed encampment.
Pelousy will keep calling it an insurrection because she KNOWS the REAL INSURRECTION was on November 4 at 0300 when she collided with the CCP to seize the Whitehut. Now she guards it with barriers and razor wire.

It barely qualifies as an uprising. Theatrics are all a scam as usual.
