By now, much of the world has seen New York's Emmy-award winning governor and "COVID-19 hero" Andrew Cuomo come under fire for New York's growing nursing home scandal. A March 25 directive forcing nursing homes to take in patients who had tested positive for COVID-19 led to the spread of the disease among New York's most vulnerable population. And then, to cover his tracks, the Governor may have obstructed justice by suppressing life and death data from the Department of Justice; his office underestimated the number of nursing home deaths by up to fifty percent.
These actions, which Cuomo's aid Melissa DeRosa admitted to in a call with Democratic lawmakers that I was on, implicated all of us in the governor's cover-up. It would be the first of multiple attempts to do so.

We cannot be numb to the fact that 15,000 people died in nursing homes under Governor Cuomo's watch. If the corporate immunity was omitted from the budget, how many lives would have been saved? Ten percent? Twenty percent? That is 1,500 to 3,000 families who could be sitting across from a loved one at dinner tonight. That's an entire 9/11 tragedy that we could have prevented.
We must hold the governor accountable and restore the integrity of the Senate and Assembly as co-equal branches of government. We must put all options on the table, in order to get to the truth.
It is time to be brave, to hold him accountable, to investigate his cover-up of nursing home information. It is time to undo the bad policies that led to unnecessary deaths. And it is time to start the impeachment process.

Impeachment is waaaayyyyy to good for this mass-murdering POS.
In a sane world, he’d already be in a jail cell facing a death penalty sentence for mass murder and crimes against humanity for what he did to those poor, innocent elderly.
The loved ones of those murdered should join together and file a class-action lawsuit against the state of NY aa well as against this evil POS personally along with whatever filthy ilk that were involved in this barbaric crime.

We were discussing the outrage of Cuomo’s nursing home slaughter here last spring.
Given the tight control of information in the lamestream media, big tech, and entertainment mafia, it makes one wonder what Cuomo did to them in order for them to not continue to cover it up. Perhaps he’s a sacrificial lamb in an attempt to appear less biased?
Thanks, Newsweek, for noticing that Cuomo’s main crime was killing thousands of nursing home residents, not lying about the number who died in hospitals.

Because we didn’t have the numbers. Cuomo was hiding them since last spring which allowed him to get away with it. Just recently the health department released the numbers that showed Cuomo was lying about the nursing homes and then his aide blabbed on a call that they were trying to cover up so the DOJ wouldn’t go after him. That’s why it has heated up recently.
Impeachment? This man is the leading mass murderer of the 21st Century.
Impeaching this POS is like abdicating Hitler. Cuomo needs the death penalty for his crimes against humanity.
Indictment, not impeachment. 2nd degree murder, depraved indifference, with special circumstances of multiple killings and torture.
This idea of impeachment is going nowhere. Cuomo carries a 58% approval rating as of four days ago.

We should be told what these “bipartisan” democrats knew about Cuomo’s malfeasance in the nursing home murders and WHEN THEY KNEW IT, did they keep it under wraps until Trump was gone. They were all blaming Trump, which probably impacted his re-election as to the handling of COVID, only now are they releasing information. So how much evidence against Cuomo has gone missing while they waited, have others been kept in harms way while they waited.
I’m surprised this is even published in Newsweek! Where were they a week ago?
