Yes, with all due respect, I agree that it is a Church administrative procedure.
However, in the past, others have continued in their post for a number of years,.. so there is precedent,
until a suitable replacement has been found.

It’s rarely accepted this quickly, and his doing so was widely perceived as getting rid of an enemy. Btw, you should see the nasty tweets and remarks about Cdl Sarah from the liberals, such as the homosexualist James Martín, SJ. They’re congratulating Bergoglio on getting rid of him.
