The Muppet Show appears to be the latest victim of political correctness with new warnings over its historic content.
The adventures of Kermit the Frog, Animal, Miss Piggy and friends now come with an alert about 'offensive content' and can only be seen on an adult account.
The move came to light when Disney made five series available last Friday on its streaming service, which costs £5.99 a month.

The Muppet 4D show is one of the best in WDW. Even the preshow is so good you don’t mind waiting for the next performance. I wonder if they are going to slap an advisory on that, or totally mess it up like they did with Pirates of the Carribean?

At this point in time I have more respect for Eastern Europe, China, Korea, Japan, then I do the west, even 3rd world nations, because they do not have time for this BS.
Maybe if Miss Piggy sang “Let’s get Together Yay Yay Yay” to David Hogg the program might look more gun grabby and inclusive...

I put Fantasia on for my Grandson and it came with an “offensive racial content” warning.
A local station that shows classic TV programs now has Benson on. And even that came with the disclaimer about races and how they were portrayed at the time the program was made. You’d probably expect that if they dusted off the film cans of the 1950s TV series Amos N’ Andy but Benson? And the odd irony was that the episode I watched with this silly disclaimer had Roscoe Lee Browne (in a guest role) playing a successful businessman.
Call me when they put up “Song of the South”....then I might subscribe.
What a silly question. We live in the eternal present, in which the party is always right. Winston Smith works for Disney.
There HAS to be some ulterior motive at work here..the Muppets, Dumbo and Peter Pan are not “racist”. So what’s the real goal? Turn the kids off (or prevent them entirely) from seeing good, decent programming and stuff indoctrinating garbage (any current Disney program, for instance) down their throats instead?
I swear there’s at least a half a dozen new things every single day that are now being called “racist” that people have lived with for decades with no issues. (Latest example..The Bachelor..yep..that’s apparently “racist” now, too! - all because one of the contestants went to a plantation themed party wearing a Southern Belle dress..yup..”RACIST!”)
What the left fails to realize is when you call just about EVERYTHING “racist”, it loses ALL meaning.
In the meantime, there’s no way on earth I’m ever giving Disney one red penny. Which kinda sucks because at least the theme parks were a good time at one point..
