Nikki Haley was snubbed Wednesday by Donald Trump when she requested a sit-down with the former president at his Mar-a-Lago residence, a source told Politico Thursday.
Trump and his former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations have not spoken since January 6, when Haley publicly blamed the former president for riling up his supporters before they stormed the Capitol.
The turn down for an in-person meeting came hours before Haley released an op/ed with the Wall Street Journal appearing to conduct damage control regarding her relationship with Trump after she continuously broke with him post-insurrection.
Trump denying Haley her requested meeting comes on the heels of a report last week where she spoke of rumored presidential ambitions and said Trump 'let us down' by his actions after the election.
In her interview with Politico last week, Haley insisted Trump wouldn't run for public office again.

I will not bother to look, but I owe some FReeper an apology over a friendly disagreement.
I was pretty certain two years ago that Haley would be the GOPe choice in 2024.
This FReeper did not disagree with me about who “they” wanted, but he pointed out that she was so politically tone deaf and prone to dropping stupid grenades on herself that she would muck it up.
Whoever you are, you were right and I was wrong. I thought she was smarter than this, but clearly you as a resident of the state she governed were far wiser than I.

That weathervane richly deserved the snub. No excuse for her not even looking at the mountain of evidence for fraud. Trump isn’t beyond criticism, but her attention-seeking statements were not constructive.

Anytime President Trump want to remember Haley he can look at the knife with her fingerprints he found in his back.
Donald Trump never forgets. Nikki should have known better.
the RINO nikki haley needs Trump to raise money for her campaign... she wanted to meet Trump to gather any information to leak to the corrupt media so she can be their ‘choice’ (a la McCain).
I look forward to ignoring nikki and any other candidate who chose the swamp over election integrity when entered into national primaries.

Nikki .. is not QUALIFIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE US CONSTITUTION TO RUN FOR President ( or VP ). Well, she can RUN but she is not qualified!
