I will not bother to look, but I owe some FReeper an apology over a friendly disagreement.

I was pretty certain two years ago that Haley would be the GOPe choice in 2024.

This FReeper did not disagree with me about who “they” wanted, but he pointed out that she was so politically tone deaf and prone to dropping stupid grenades on herself that she would muck it up.

Whoever you are, you were right and I was wrong. I thought she was smarter than this, but clearly you as a resident of the state she governed were far wiser than I.

When she voted to move the Confederate flag, I said at the time she just made a colossal political mistake with no upside for herself.

I was curious to see if I would be shown to be correct, because I was predicting she was going to lose the next election for governor. She bailed out before it could be put to the test.

I think she is done as a political force now.
