White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters on Tuesday that President Joe Biden has not ruled out using executive orders for gun control.
When asked if Biden still intended to use executive action on gun control – a vow made during his campaign – Psaki responded, “The president has a range of actions at his disposal … he hasn’t ruled out either of those options.”
Biden’s campaign website boasted about his record working with legislative and executive actions during the Obama administration, pointing to “two dozen actions” the administration took after Biden was tasked with heading gun control measures.
Biden’s campaign website also stated, “Biden will also use his executive authority to ban the importation of assault weapons,” in addition to working with Congress to “ban the manufacture and safe of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.”

I remember 1968 and in the Military. Even there many soldiers were PO’d of what they believed to be a coming ban on private owned firearms.
The talk was almost mutinous. Think of how today’s military will feel.
He’ll sacrifice as many as it takes. You don’t think he gives a crap about his JBTs do you?
This one thing could destroy any semblance of control he might have. The entire country would then no longer listen to anything he might do. He would slowly lose control of everything and Harris would use the 25th Amendment to depose him. That would be the inevitable result of an executive order on gun control and he is being advised not to try it. You can bet on that. After all, this is not campaigning anymore.
Just out of curiosity, if this vermin occupier of President Donald Trumps office were to issue an EO banning guns and for some odd reason cops try to enforce it, could the military as per their oath of enlistment by theory intervene and take into custody all who were involved in this even without orders?

Great post. Exactly what will take place. Remove legal protections for gun/ammo manufacturers so that they will be subject to hoards of lawsuits and possibly putting many out of business.
Along with that, EO’s to attack from many avenues.

Exactly! But will he try to dance around it. I believe the ATF is within the Executive Branch. He could order that agency to create rules restricting gun ownership that includes seizing weapons, imposing fines and prison terms, etc.
In other words it would be a bureaucratic move, not a legislative one. The EPA gets by with this all the time.
His mask mandate EO supposedly applies to all public transportation. This clown has no control over a private bus or taxi company, yet people are buying into it. It’s massive overreach.
Nothing substantial can be done without congress.
If he even tries such a stunt, he will indeed cause civil unrest, which is probably what he wants....

Any of us can have an excavator at our home hours before LE would get here. Sheriff’s coverage ends at 2300 and SP don’t start until 0730. That’s a lot of time to take care of things.
