Another new COVID-19 variant has been detected in the US, UK and other countries, according to scientists.
The B1525 variant is similar to B117 — the highly contagious strain found in Britain in mid-December that’s since made its way to the US, the Guardian reported.
The new variant has popped up in 10 countries so far, including Denmark, the US, Nigeria and Australia. Thirty-two cases have been reported in the UK. No cases of the new mutant have so far been reported in the US.

They need to come up with better names for the new variants. COVID19-B4 just does not have the pizazz needed. The FEAR marketing guys should be fired. Hire locked down out of work Hollywood scrip writers who are trained professionals in thinking up scary villian names.

The media rot! They deliberately and intentionally cause anxiety in viewers’ minds. The vaccine is beginning to work. Can’t allow that! They can’t let us breathe a sigh of relief for one second! NO! They are going to cause fear and trembling with the “new variant”! That should be good for at least 6 months of double masking, 3 weeks of lockdowns, 5 weeks of no restaurants, and 10 years of no Thanksgiving/Christmas/Easter.
Plus they get to remind us that the virus affects blacks more than whites to make us feel guilty.
