The Biden administration announced on Friday that, starting on February 19, thousands of migrants waiting in Mexico who have open asylum cases will be allowed into the United States. The announcement comes as the administration opened a new tent city in Texas to handle part of the expected crush of illegal immigrants now moving toward the border expecting succor from the Biden administration.
“As President Biden has made clear, the U.S. government is committed to rebuilding a safe, orderly, and humane immigration system,” said Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. “This latest action is another step in our commitment to reform immigration policies that do not align with our nation’s values. Especially at the border, however, where capacity constraints remain serious, changes will take time.”

The DHS will announce a virtual registration process so that migrants can sign up from any location. They will be told to show up for admission at a nearby port of entry at a specific date and time. DHS is working with the State and Justice departments on the rollout. Only migrants whose cases have made it to the pending stage before DOJ’s Executive Office for Immigration Review will be eligible for admittance.
Migrants allowed into the country for legal proceedings will be required to wear face masks and socially distance themselves from others, both precautionary measures to minimize the spread of the coronavirus. Everyone will be tested for the coronavirus before entering the U.S.

Just a little pet peve: I’m getting annoyed with dozens of the recent articles that start out with “It Begins...”... It began a long time ago, and is not unexpected by anyone who has been paying attention.

Even under Trump, civilians who actually tried to interfere with illegal alien invaders were arrested. I can only imagine how dangerous it will be to try to do that with Biden (harris) {0bama} running things.

My plan:
Arrange for charter buses and promise illegals a free trip to the highest-income city in the nation.
Give each illegal a burner phone with pre-loaded phone numbers of contact persons in Washington, D.C. and written instructions on who to call for shelter, food and a job. Contact persons to be selected from the list of democrat members of congress.
Provide gift card with enough funds to cover fast food/convenience store food items while intransit.
NOTE: This can be a non-profit social services organization funded by tax-deductible donations.

We can always accuse Biden of WANTING the illegals to freeze to death.. In tents - are they kidding with the cold weather that is hitting TX?? Of course, they’d freeze in Mexico also but let Mexico take care of that problem.
And of course, those with court dates are going to be bringing the proper paperwork with them when they cross the border, right?

So now comedy cavern rejects are trying their standup routines at press conferences for Biden? Maybe the first 50,000 gate crashers will be "safe" and "orderly" like the first dusk hour of peaceful protests followed by pipe bombs, organized looting (with prearranged getaway vans and SUV's near stores) and then arsonist fires in Portland, Seattle, NYC and elsewhere.
MSNBC and CNN will turn border cameras off but let's hope some videos from cell phones will get out before being deleted and banned.
Without any restraint at the borders and with ICE officers as curtailed and inhibited as city police are, there will be people crushed to death under swarms of welfare grabbers "yearning to be free."
And I’m sure these people would never do anything like work illegally under the table while they’re waiting in the US or anything. /s
