Senate Republicans, including those who do not plan to vote to convict former President Trump, say this week’s impeachment trial has effectively ended any chance of him becoming the GOP presidential nominee in 2024.
From the viewpoint of some Republican senators, the compelling case presented by House prosecutors carries a silver lining: It means they likely won’t have to worry about Trump running for president again in three years, while at the same time eroding his influence in party politics more generally.

74 million is the number of votes that were credited to Trump. That does not include the thousands or millions of votes that Trump received that were switched by Dominion to be Biden votes. 74 million is a very low estimate of the number of Trump supporters that were and still are supporting him now and in the future.
I think Trump’s next move will involve transforming the GOP into the MAGA party, by supporting real conservatives in primaries against pseudo-cons

Which is a good argument for why we need a viable third party, and President Trump (currently in exile due to the coup) is just the leader who can successfully establish such a party.
True. This is why I will no longer vote, ever again. I’m no longer even registered. This country can not be saved through elections. It is far too corrupt for that to ever help the people - who are no longer free but are merely now subjects of the oligarchs/new royalty.

What we need to do is figure out a way to solidify and grow the base on a day-to-day basis. It worries me that unlike prior to the “steal”, when I was only one of hundreds of people in my area wearing Trump hats and flying Trump flags, I now see very few hats, flags, etc. People are naturally fickle, have other things to be concerned about, etc, etc. Nevertheless, I’ve been thinking of starting a local coalition of die-hard Trump supporters willing to participate in car rallies and other public demonstrations just to let the ‘rats and the sleepers know we’re still a force to be reckoned with!
Watch and see who becomes the loyal opposition to the Democrats. Will it be Trump or the GOPE? We all know the GOPE couldn’t and wouldn’t try to fight their way out of a burning outhouse if they were trapped inside unless the Democrats told them too and then they would fail.
Trump will be the guy more than likely taking it too the Democrats once he decides on a media platform and the Democrats will be attacking him daily and ignoring the GOPE because they know the GOPE is not a threat to anyone.
