The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are Super Bowl LV champions after completing a victory that exceeded expectations and made all kinds of history on Sunday night at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. In dominating the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9, the Bucs won its second Super Bowl and became the first team to win a Super Bowl in their home stadium. Quarterback Tom Brady secured his seventh Lombardi Trophy, two more than any player in NFL history and one more than any entire NFL franchise has achieved.
Brady's performance at age 43 was nearly flawless, and the suffocating pressure of Todd Bowles' defense was a perfect compliment to the offense's effort. The future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback completed 21 of 29 passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns, including a pair to his long-time favorite target in tight end Rob Gronkowski and another to wide receiver Antonio Brown. He calmly distributed the ball to his cadre of pass catchers and was especially successful over the middle. Brady and Gronk now have 14 postseason scoring connections in their legendary careers.
The Bucs forced the Chiefs into their worst offensive performance of the Patrick Mahomes era as Tampa Bay's defensive front completely controlled the line of scrimmage through all four quarters. Mahomes was under siege all night, alternately firing the ball into the ground and having to tuck and scamper away from the relentless pressure. Mahomes took three sacks and threw two interceptions on tipped passes. Even those figures undersell the degree to which the Bucs made his life miserable. He ended the night with 270 yards passing, much of which game in garbage time, while being held without a touchdown for just the second time in 56 games since taking over KC's starting job in 2018.

There was a game?
I stopped supporting woke sports years ago. Didn’t even know there was a game.
What is “Super Bowl?” Is that some kind of sportsball thing?
Did Brady kneel? Did the halftime show suck as usual? I didn’t watch the game, the preshows, the commercials, nada.
You didn’t miss anything. Worst commercials ever, nothing funny or humorous. The only question that is up in the air is will the referee’s get rings as well, based on how they called that game. They let Tampa play and called KC for anything they could to keep TB on the field, had to shut it off after the 3rd quarter.
No dog in the fight, a Packers fan. I thinking that I don.t need to see another.
I was watching Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Rope”. Then Andy Griffith. That football BS is not allowed in this house.
Super bowl..? Is that some kinda weird porn involving a large toilet being flushed in public?
Sounds weird..just asking for a friend
I’ve been done with the NFL for all that woke kneeling crap and halftime burlesque shows, but this is a nice wrap for Brady. I’ve no allegiance to him, but for a guy who’s been at it since back when the NFL had a modicum of respect, it’s cool he bagged a seventh Lombardi; makes for a helluva career, and he’ll be able to say he played through to the very end. He can retire, now, wash his hands of whatever Folderol the League decides to take a swig of next, and enjoy the second half of his life in the shade of an impressive roster of athletic achievements.
Hate what the NFL has become, but I won’t begrudge Brady a golden sunset.
Did the cardboard cutout people behave themselves?
As wholesome and "all-American" as the Andy Griffith Show was, AG himself was a big Lib, highly supportive of Obama and his "Change" agenda. He, Ron Howard (Opie), and Henry Wrinkler (Fonzi on Happy Days), actually did a television commercial endorsing Obama and the far left "Change" agenda. Was sickening to watch.
I find that if there is anything at all worth watching as far as the game goes it can be seen on a Youtube highlight video. I can’t be bothered to watch any other part of it. Even if I did care about the game I would avoid any outside media, DVR the game and edit out all the commercials before watching it.
I know all that about AG. Doesn’t have an effect on the wholesome, all American story lines of the 60’s show.
The Super Bowl may be over, but we may not know the real winner for days or even weeks after the time allotted for official scoring. Referees will still have to tally all mail-in touchdowns & the newly legalized “extra points” before they officially announce a new champion.
Biden could have used a bunch of them during his many largely empty campaign rallies.
When I heard you could have a cardboard cutout of your self at the game for “only” $100 I laughed... Then I heard there were 30,000 cutouts in the seats. WTF?
Wokeness is an enfeebling concept.
.
On that taunting penalty near the end of the game there's a back story, seems it was payback:

Read the back of their helmets.... 🤮
Bet ratings and demos suck.
