The song was written by Mort and Selma Craft. They also wrote "Long Lonely Nights," which was recorded by Lee Andrews & the Hearts.

Selma's maiden name was Litvan. Her brother, Hyman Litvan, became the famous Hy Lit of WIBG in Philadelphia.

My housemate had her first COVID shot the other day, and how she's not feeling well. (Hm-m-m-m-m.)

Her 8 year old cockapoo bitch finally decided she could climb into bed with me. As long as I cover everything but her face in sheet and blanket, it simulates a burrow and she sleeps like a log at night.

Whoa! 60 degrees? I thought it was fairly nippy up there these days. It’s a lot warmer there than it is here. It finally touched 45 while I was out this afternoon.
Somethin’s wrong with this picture. LOL

I didn’t know if you’d just started looking around for a part-time job or if it was something you were keeping an eye out for for a while. It’s nice not being in a hurry so you can get just what you want.

Things are pretty slow. We finally got the junk in the garage out to the burn pile today and it’s ashes now. WOOHOO! That’s the highlight of the weekend. It’s all downhill from here. LOL

That’s one reason I don’t want it!! Same thing happens to me if I get a flu shot. Which I don’t. But having had covid, my hubby and I can’t get the vaccine [should we want to] for 3 months, per his doctor. I hope she feels better soon!

Awww....you now have a cuddle buddy. Loove cockapoos. They are so cute!
