I hope y’all will catch a break with the next one, too. Maybe not in the 70s but not what they’re saying it will be.

Sunday’s high in now supposed to be around 40, which isn’t too bad. They initially said upper 20s with the wind chill in the mid teens during the day and single digits overnight.
Highs will be in the 40s and 50s for the next week unless they change the forecast again. LOL

Yikes...I guess given the choice of 20s or 40s, I know which one I’d choose. I want a bit of winter, not a deep freeze. Hope you don’t get that either!

A bit of winter is what we’ve been getting and as much as I don’t like it (I’m ready for spring!!!!), it sure beats the frigid winters we get sometimes.

Unless something changes, we have a high in the mid 30s coming next Wed.

It’s just the beginning of Feb. We’re far from out of the woods.

Yeah, all the weather guys say that February is the MIDDLE of winter, not the end. In our case, it had better hurry or miss its chance. LOL!

Yep, we still have a long way to go until spring. It stays cold here well into March, usually, though we get a early spring every now and then.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Did your new coffee maker arrive? Sippin’ a cup now to get the cobwebs out? LOL

I hope you and Gizmo had a good romp yesterday.

Hi Kathy. Prior to going into the US Army Chaplains Service Father Washington was the parish priest at St. Stephens Church in my hometown of Kearny, NJ. There is a large memorial and statue of these men of God who gave their lives that other might live in St. Stephen Church.

The new coffee pot arrived yesterday and I had my very first cup of coffee in the last couple of days. It sure feels good to be more awake this morning.

Also got a brand new decal for the pickup tag. That is 1/2 of what keeps us legal here in Oklahoma. The liability insurance which is the other 1/2 comes later this month. Our current insurance doesn't run out until March 10th.

Gizmo saw a couple of dogs and wanted to play with one of them. I couldn't stop them and I ended up having to scold him. No dogs hurt thankfully but had to put band aid on in a couple of places for minor scrapes. Nothing major though. You know how dogs are.

But, other than that we had a great time at Wichita Ridge yesterday.

The view from the picnic area.

Head shot of Gizmo:

Out side in the picnic area

In the restroom

And finally, in the water:

We plan on doing Chisolm Trail Park later today.

He is ALIIIIIVE!! LOL!
Happy E.G.C! Caffeine to wake up with again!

I’d forgotten you were expecting the decal as well. Glad that showed up and you have that much taken care of.

Yikes on the scuffle with the dogs! Too bad you didn’t have a long stick to whack them with. I’m glad you didn’t get more than a couple of scratches.
Here’s hoping things are much quieter at Chisolm Trail Park later today.

I just took a little "trip" to NJ to see the statue and it's beautiful.

Well, thanks Radu and one more thing too. We’re now under a Wind Advisory until 3 PM today and they’re saying winds could gust to 45 MPH here so we’ll see what happens with that.

It’s a beautiful church and the area around it is beautiful too. I “drove around” a little bit and love the old houses. Even the newer houses are built in similar styles so they fit right in. Seems like nice place to have grown up.
