Lindsey comes to Liz Cheney's defense
The Hill ^ | 02/02/21 10:52 AM EST | BY DOMINICK MASTRANGELO

Posted on 02/02/2021 8:29:48 AM PST by RandFan

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Tuesday defended Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), the No. 3 ranking Republican in the House who has come under fire for her vote to impeach former President Trump.

Graham called Cheney a valuable asset to the Republican party as many GOP members of Congress have targeted the congresswoman over her impeachment vote.

"I believe [Cheney] is one of the strongest and most reliable conservative voices in the Republican Party," Graham said in a tweet. "She is a fiscal and social conservative, and no one works harder to ensure that our military is well prepared."

Graham added, "In the eyes of many - Liz Cheney’s experience, leadership, and strength are invaluable to the Republican Party."

Liz knows that a strong America is a safe America. She believes we must confront radical Islam and take the fight to them to ensure there are no more 9/11’s.

The senator's statement comes just hours after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) issued a similar defense of Cheney while blasting Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), a staunch defender of Trump who has faced fierce criticism for promoting a number of conspiracy theories.

"Liz Cheney is a leader with deep convictions and the courage to act on them," McConnell said to CNN of the Wyoming lawmaker.

On Wednesday, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy plans to hold a meeting of rank and file Republicans as some members are looking to oust Cheney from her leadership position over her impeachment vote.

House Freedom Caucus Chairman Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) and Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-Mont.) are circulating a petition to demand Cheney resign from her post as Chairwoman of the Hosue GOP conference, the Hill reported.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) has spent time in Wyoming in recent days, railing against Cheney during small gatherings of Trump supporters.

"I think you’ll have, you know, three constituencies in our conference — those who want to drive out the populists, those who want to drive out the establishment and those who simply want peace,” Gaetz said on Monday.

Graham, a top ally of Trump while he was still in office, has since backed off unfounded claims of voter fraud peddled by Trump and his allies and said it is time for the party and the country to move on.

He, along with McConnell and all but five other GOP senators, voted in favor of a measure introduced by Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) arguing the second impeachment of Trump was unconstitutional because he has already left office.

The House impeached Trump after a mob of his supporters stormed the Capitol Building on Jan. 6.

What's wrong with Cruz? He signed the House objection and spoke eloquently in the debate. Can't help you with Cornyn.

Neither Linda nor Cheny are valuable Asshats to the GOP.
They are part of the old guard, graceful losers who have to go. They both will be useless in the battles for freedom to come.

Huge mistake for Trump to walk away from a new party!

Trumps backstabbing and compromise problems all along were direct deep state global socialist RINO-e totalitarians, who only ever were liars to their constituencies.

Even if only to greatly reshape the Republican Party, a new “party” with 80-90 million voters (not just Republican), really would massively reinvent the old party, or completely destroy it, which really needs to be done.

Forget about public office, with the RINO-e heavily involved in massive global socialist entities to commit national scale election fraud, and involved in never ending fraudulent Coup’d’Etat against our own President and against innocent Americans, their are multiple treason angles, and these RINO-e need tribunals and honestly convictions.

We are so far beyond just needing to be removed from office... Without real justice, liberty is 100% dead.

Trump does not support a "new party" there's a reason he ran & won as a Republican. Any new party would first have to win in the states and go from there. The best Perot's Reform Party was able to do was Jesse Ventura as governor. I don't recall any House or Senate victories. Even Trump associated himself with the Reform Party at one point.

There is only surrender in starting yet another party.

Back and forth back and forth putting his finger in the wind to detect the fart fumes’ origins so he can cover his political bets.

Liz Cheney DEFENDED the criminal lying NSC “lt. col to you” Vindmann whom she called a “decorated hero” (a Purple Heart?— what the actual hell- 100k plus of those for minor wounds- like he had. Story available in public).. one who bragged in a public hearing that Poroshenko- the Russian oligarch’s stooge President (whom Biden demanded and go the Prosecutor of Burisma, and his crackhead son, along with Romney’s campaign director Cofer Black see eye eyyyyyyh wipe)— that Poroshenko OFFERED Vindmann the Minister of Defense of Ukraine!! And as an American officer he never reported it!!!?? Keep in mind at the same time an American woman Natalie Jaresko- US citizen was appointed the FINANCE Minister of Ukraine (to handle the NGO kickback money to the Democrats— all NGOs approved by the Ambassador Voyonovitch— the Russian/Canadian citizen, naturalized Amerian career foreign service “ambassador” plant of the obmaumao regime).

Where is Natalie Jaresko now? Why, she’s the Debt Management Commissioner appointed by demonrats (Louis Gohmert on record objecting— for all the above reasons)-— in Puerto Rico!!
P.R. where the demonrats, right in the middle of the COVID spring last year- had a convention of legislative leaders including the pervo Sen. Menendez of NJ. putting the make on photo of a chiquita on the beach in P.R. Corruptocrats setting up their next “kickback” financing of US taxpayer’s money to them and the DNC. A racketeering setup like no other.

First McConnell and then Lindsey responds to the “mature” male role model (replacing McCain when Romney isn’t around) in support of Liz Cheney. Liz Cheney was censured by her OWN constituency leadership. That carry ANY weight to these queer power brokers. Lindsey not able to stand on his own feet without licking someone’s ... well fairly obvious.

What both are referring to is THEIR side of the Mil-Industrial -Medical complex trough they are both eating out of for their fundraising. The downline from the incompetent Dick Cheney and frankly the ripoff Halliburton so often talked about but never fully looked into. Pigs at the trough... well they do squeal when the feeding girl shows up to throw in some slop. What a waste of time and American industry— someone’s honey pot being propped up.

Lindsey G has undermined Trump over and over exponentially.

When Trump’s team tried to distance with Fauci, Lindsey G ran to his aid and criticized Trump. From Ukraine to Bubba Wallace to the FBi - Graham has attacked Trump.

1,460 days without a Subpoena to investigate any aspect of the Coup or any of Joe’s Foreign Cash Machines.
