President Joe Biden threatened to reimpose sanctions on Myanmar on Monday as his administration debates whether to call the military takeover a 'coup.'
Insiders familiar with the back-and-forth described the discussions as 'chaos' as officials fear that the White House calling the military takeover a coup could anger China and force the United States to withdraw foreign aid, Politico reported.
Myanmar's army took power of the country early on Monday and declared a state of emergency after detaining de facto leader Aung San Suu Kyi along with members of her party.

It will depend on how desperate Biden / Harris get for a distraction.
When fascists are in charge, the dynamic changes from the usual. The purpose has nothing to dowuth defending our nation or its allies. Its about maximizing fascist power at home, what Biden / Harris call Unity, and having a meat grinder in which to send Trump supporters who love the military.

Aung San Suu Kyi is no Saint, she has been brutal against Muslims in the country (not the ratical ones) when in power. She was under house arrest for many years and became a lightening rod of sorts for peaceniks the likes of Bono / U2 whom dedicated a song (Walk On) in her name during U2’s 2000 Tour. She was freed, new elections took place and she won. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
I’ll give him some credit as he denounced her for the Muslim treatment in 2017 saying she should step down from power.

It’s called FIGHTING TERRORISM. We keep calling for it, and then criticizing those who do just that.
To put it another way, given her history and credibility, I’ll trust HER JUDGEMENT on how to deal with their terrorists before I’d trust our media or deep state.
Chaos will dominate resident biden’s “administration” for the next four years. Too many cooks spoil the soup. The cooks now include biden, Commie Harris, Obama, Susan Rice, Nancy, Sandy O-C, Schumer, and more. They all have conflicting agendas. biden hasn’t enough wit about him to even eat the soup, much less control its cooking.
