Well, you’re going to enjoy all that extra space. We’ve never had an icemaker. Our water is extremely hard and everyone we know who has had one griped that they were always getting clogged. Who needs the hassle. LOL!
And I don’t like ice in my diet Coke. :)
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
I hope you had another pretty day for your romp with Gizmo. Could you please send some of that over here? LOL It’s been ugly.
KFC or Sonic for supper?
I already do enjoy having the extra space. And I look forward to being able to buy a bunch of fresh corn from a local farmer this year to blanch and freeze. I wasn’t able to do it last year. No room to freeze it.
There was an ice-maker in our fridge at the other house but it was much smaller. I don’t use in my drinks but Hubby does. I only used some in a small cooler to keep a bottle of Coke cold on Saturdays when I worked at the museum. I hope to be able to do that again this year. I really missed that place last year.
I hope they can open the museum this year. I know how much you looked forward to Saturdays, even when that meant you had to wake up EARLY! :)
-2 at my house. Glad I don’t have to go anywhere til Thursday. I just have to remember to run my car tomorrow.
I hope we can open the museum too! So do a lot of other people. I run into folks often who ask when we’ll open again and have no answer for them.
I don’t mind getting up early for that wonderful place. For any other reason - - nope!
Brrrrr....that just made me shiver! I was whining because it was 35 this morning. LOL! Glad you can stay in. Do you have a car engine warmer?
YIKES! Too cold!
I saw it mentioned yesterday that the temps could go as low as -15 in some areas around Anchorage.
That makes our current 36 seem warm. LOL
It’s spitting a little snow now but we won’t get more than a dusting.
Head shots of Gizmo.

I know that’s right! LOL!
Guess I’d better head out. I don’t know why I’ve even stayed up so late. 7:30am came waaaaay too early. After a very short night before.
See ya tomorrow!
At least you had sunshine and that makes the cold a little more bearable. We got up to 60 degrees this afternoon but it was cloudy and windy and not very comfortable. Now it’s cold, windy, and snowing.
Gizmo didn’t seem to mind the chill at all. He had a big smile on his face.
Getting out of the house for a bit and being around some other folks got you jazzed. That’s why you were able to stay up this late. Now sleep late tomorrow to make up for it. LOL
Sleep well.
Good morning, Canteen.
Good morning to our

Thank you, Ma for preparing
the Canteen for today's activities.
What a crazy weekend. We've ended up with a slushy mess that has frozen over.
Today is a walk day; however, not sure if we'll even go to the gym.
Turned the news on for the first time in over a year
just to get a forecast for the week.
A slight warm-up later in the week but then,
another ice-age cold front coming early next week!
I hate the COLD!
I cringe thinking of those living further north than us.
Gonna catch up on pings.
But please stay right where you are.
Chat up the military or a family member.
No need to fret...you know I'll be back!
Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

As I was driving to church yesterday morning, it was 4 degrees. But the wind made it much colder.
Now we are sitting on pins and needles waiting for the Big Blizzard.
Brrrrrrr.
I did sleep late and only woke up one time that I remember. Yay!!
