He certainly was! So proud of him and all the rest of our heroes!
Hi, there!
I did enjoy the services, but I’m about wiped out tonight. Getting dressed twice in one day. More than a body can stand. LOL!
I hope your day went well, too!
I wondered if you’d be able to make it to both services since you don’t have your steam back up 100%. Glad you were able to.
Pretty low-key here. We finally got through all the boxes of stuff along one wall in the garage and have things sorted - - burn, haul off, or keep. Now we just have to wait for the weather to improve enough to burn and haul off the stuff and that part of the garage will be so much nicer. It’s still cluttered at the moment.
Thank you Kathy! Yes, did nothing today but relax, ready to go...
it’s 3 and still dropping.
Hope you got enough rain this storm to make a difference.
You still need REST, REST, and more REST!! 🙂
Wow, you guys did make some progress on that mess. LOL! Did you find any cool treasures to keep?
I’m trying. LOL! I did get a 2-hour nap after lunch. That helped a lot. This week is going to be a lazy week. For sure!
Pleeeeeeeeeease keep that up there! LOL
The cold is affecting the Lake Hood cam. The stream gets jerky when it gets real cold.
Every bit of rain we can get helps and last night was decent, but we could use a nice steady rain for a couple of days. None of that in the near future though.
Hai Kathy! (((HUGS))) Yeah, nice fire, steady rain, nice sound.
It been slow progress but it’s been made. There was a LOT of junk to sort through.
I don’t know about treasures but there were some things worth hanging onto.
Well, maybe a couple of treasures. I’d run across several boxes of bullets and shotgun shells last week and today Hubby found Aunt Martha’s rifle and shotgun. That made him happy.
Oh, I’ll bet that made him happy. Who knew that kind of treasure would be lurking over there. :)
He’s tickled to death. LOL
I just found a few things we can use in the house and several items good for yard sales.
The best thing I got out of the deal is room for Aunt Clara’s almost-new upright freezer in the garage. It’s in place now and stocked with some food.
WoooHooo...d’ freezer has a new home. Good deal there. You’ll enjoy that as much as he will the guns. LOL!
I’ve wanted the freezer over here since we moved but there wasn’t room for it. I’m a happy camper now.
I’ll bet that’s right. I’ve never owned a freezer. Never was that ambitious to cook stuff, I guess. LOL!
We had one in our part of the other house that worked fine but it wasn’t frost-free. I hated it. Clara’s old one conked out about a year before she went into the nursing home so was used very long. It’s frost-free.
The freezer in the refrigerator that was already in this house is tiny to begin with. Then you add the ice maker that takes up a third of the freezer and the water/ice dispenser that takes up a third of the door and there isn’t much room for food. A real pain.
How's everyone doing this morning?
