Biden to halt new oil and gas leases on federal lands and take other climate-related action

President Joe Biden will sign several executive actions related to the climate crisis on Wednesday, including one directing the secretary of the interior to pause on entering into new oil and natural gas leases on public lands or offshore waters.

The executive order directs the interior secretary to launch a "rigorous review" of the existing leasing and permitting programs related to fossil fuel development, and to identify steps to double renewable energy production from offshore wind by 2030, according to a fact sheet provided by the White House. The halting of new leases fulfills a campaign promise by Biden and will expand an existing 60-day moratorium issued by the President on his first day in office. Biden's climate actions mark a sharp departure from the Trump administration's efforts to maximize fossil fuel production and expand oil and gas drilling on federal lands.

Biden on Wednesday will establish the climate crisis as an "essential element of U.S. foreign policy and national security." The order instructs the director of national intelligence, Avril Haines, to prepare a national intelligence estimate on the security implications of the climate crisis and directs all agencies to develop strategies for integrating climate considerations into their international work.

How does this help the climate? Explain how CO2 causes the planet to heat and cool.

Not just gasoline, all energy sources are going to triple. In fact, the sky is the limit on energy cost. Your AC/heating cost will probably go up to $500 a month by the end of this administration's term.

Well, ya see...

First, Joe opens his mouth and speaks, and hot air comes out mixed with a fair amount of CO2.

This warmed CO2 transfers heat to the surrounding atmosphere, seeking equilibrium. The longer Joe talks, the higher the ultimate equilibrium temperature will be.

Civil disobedience time.

It’s our land.

Federal government is not legitimate.

But their guns and tanks and jails are real. So people won’t stand up to them.

So, Federal employees who might be reading here, you were angry that Trump might make you more accountable for the money you spend and reduce your budgets enough to overthrow the government illegally? How do you think you’re making the people who make a living in the oilfield think about you destroying their lives? You can’t kill them all.

The enviro extremists have deemed it so. We are not to ask questions. We are to take on faith that CO2 is dangerous.

In related actions, biteme orders the formation of a commission to study how to control the Sun which will in turn control the climate on all planets within it’s influence.

What was the name of that environmental EO that he, er, Harris, et al, signed? Something like creating the office of Environmental Justice, and it was to help low-income and minorities (well, they had to throw that in there so that people would go along with the group-think that this thing would ensure a continuance of opportunism on their part).

Don’t get me wrong, I have a huge heart for the homeless, those who’ve lost their jobs because of U.S. lockdown 2020, kids and mothers with infants who desperately need three squares a day. What I despise the most is when I see a brand-new Chevrolet Corvette with a spoiler and red calipers parked in a driveway and four or five kids standing on the porch who look like they haven’t had a decent meal all day.

Let's start building TODAY in Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard.

What?! The elites already blocked that a few years ago? Never mind

It would appear that extracting “fossil fuel” from the US causes climate change, but importing the stuff from the Middle East is just fine.
