The current iteration of the American Ruling Class has not only embraced dictatorial methods as a means to their ends but are astonishingly ill-educated thanks to decades of indoctrination rather than education at America’s universities. This ill-education encompasses not only an inability by the vast majority to reason and generate an original thought but also a breathtaking ignorance of the history of mankind, and a profound inability to comprehend the American experience and citizenry. ... For the Democrats it’s no longer about winning the argument, it’s about winning the system. If they control the system, the arguments don’t matter.

While Steve McCann is a good writer, this article is naive.
Our country was already run by an oligarchy of ruling elite Democrats, Republicans, Deep State, et al. when Trump interrupted their plan by trying to give power back to the people.
This oligarchy, backed by the CCP and globalists, has already brainwashed a big chunk of the American electorate and will now find a way to rid themselves of that pesky portion that have proven themselves to be immune to their indoctrination/brainwashing methods (i.e., us Deplorables).
All hope is not lost, however.
War is coming. A righteous war.
Of course, in the meantime, the "oligarchy" is awaiting its REAL leader.

I agree that the author appears to think the old rules apply. Post-coup, they don’t.
Because we have had a coup, and like many a banana-republic coup, it was voted in. And it is being enforced by the ministry of propaganda (the media and big tech, which can silence the opposition at will) and, as usual, the police powers of the state.
Seeing the Dems keep about 15,000 troops in DC for the duration of their “impeachment” proceedings should tell you all you need to know both about the legitimacy of the proceedings and the identity of their true enemy (we the people).
Also, closing several national monuments that are iconic symbols of the old US (such as the Washington Monument) is an extension of the statue removal of last year, completely wiping out all visual symbols and public record of history of the pre-coup past.
As to the troops in DC for the Inauguration, that was quite telling wasn't it?
They REALLY didn't want to have their "ritual" upset, did they? ;-)

If I had to guess, I would say the ruling elite plan to move pretty quickly now that they have regained the WH. We'll have to hang onto our hats.

I am so sorry to agree with you. I keep telling people around here trying to do something to protect us deplorables or to salvage our Beloved Country is not going to happen...not now and certainly not two years from now.
Now is the time to secede. If the SCOTUS is so corrupted we must do it as CWII. Those among must who know who is ready for secession must tell us and then a plan must be developed.
We cannot wait on this.
Frankly we have no choices.
(And, yes, I do know what I am talking about. My parents were warned by the Chinese where we lived in the Philippine Islands months before Dec 7. My parents believed (really and truly) that Americans were sacrosanct in terms of who anybody would try to hurt us. What a friggen pie in the sky. We and most white people from the US and Europe were quickly rounded up and put into concentration camps...no and ifs or buts. And there we were for 4 years.... What a travesty. all because Roosevelt didn’t want to show lack of faith in some bogus “settlement” the Japanese were willing to talk to our government about.)
It has to come from the states. Individuals will just be chewed up and spat out.
I think a lot of red states have seen the way the blue state governors took advantage of and abused their powers in the COVID coup. Red state governors have to learn to do this in reverse, that is, resist the federal government to preserve freedom and protect their people.
A few states are beginning to realize this. It’s going to take a lot of courage to go ahead, and the states have to take the lead. They have a lot of power under the Constitution even without seceding.
