Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) discussed the impeachment of now-former President Donald Trump over the storming of the U.S. Capitol earlier this month.
Coons claimed there is “new evidence coming out every day” showing Trump “spread baseless lies” about the 2020 presidential election results and that he tried to “undermine” the process of our democracy. He added that he does not think incitement of insurrection “is a hard case to make.”

Politicians accuse each other of lying. Yeah that’s a real good reason to bar your opponents from elections.
Let's start with the Senate.
I say let them go for the impeachment vote in the Senate. And pray for a tie vote in the Senate.
Then have one of the new Senators stand up to a tie-breaking vote in the Senate and OBJECT to Harris’ vote as VP and President of the Senate due to the DNC certifying Harris as a Natural Born (US) Citizen when Senate Resolution 511 from April 30, 2008 states:
Whereas John Sidney McCain, III, was born to American citizens on an American military base in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936:
Now, therefore, be it Resolved, That John Sidney McCain, III, is a “natural born Citizen” under Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution of the United States.
Harris cannot meet the same essential requirement of American citizen parents.
Certifying her as an act of the Electoral College was UNLAWFUL.
Her acts as Senate President are UNLAWFUL.

He is the bonehead (one of several it seems) who let Biden mess with his underage daughter, in public, on video, in the “hallowed walls of Congress.”
He can’t; it’s what he does best.
BTW, if “Leaky” Leahy is going to preside as trial judge, does he still get to vote on impeachment? If so, might as well cancel the trial and go straight to execution. However, if he doesn’t vote, it will take 66 votes to convict, not 67.
