Shock poll: Trump 'Patriot Party' would win almost quarter of voters, drop GOP to third place
Just the News ^ | January 25,2021 | By Daniel Wattenberg

A Trump third party could provoke a pivotal realignment in American politics. With the support of 46% of registered voters in the new poll, Democrats would reap the benefits of a fractured opposition and entrench themselves as the nation's dominant party — even without majority support.

Among "very conservative" voters — who make up a disproportionately large bloc within the Republican primary electorate — a Trump Patriot Party crushes the GOP 55%-24%.

Should Trump remain in the GOP, his wide lead among these highly motivated voters affords him great leverage to influence the direction of the party by wielding the threat of conservative primary challenges against establishment Republicans ill at ease with the former president's combative brew of conservatism infused with populism and nationalism.

“How to destroy the conservative movement in one easy lesson.”

The conservatives already lose regardless of which party wins. The establishment globalists have a stranglehold on the Republican Party and that’s never going to “change from within”. A third party is our only chance and with Trump, now is the time. How could we be any worse off?

If the pollsters are showing a solid 1/4 of the voting block, you know it’s a hell of a lot more than that. These are the same pollsters that kept Obozo’s approval rating locked at 43% since April 2009 even though his presidency crashed and burned so bad that the media was putting up bogus “he’s a bored genius” articles to explain his frequent vacations and absentee/rudderless leadership in nearly everything, especially foreign policy. They were also at a loss to explain that the only people who benefitted from his foreign policy decisions were Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood.

No, he’s a genius and everybody knows it. His book is #324,153 on Amazon. Being sarcastic, except for the Amazon ranking, that is for real. They’re giving it away for $0.00 as an audio-book because nobody will buy this piece of $#!+. I love how the establishment talking-point “conservatives” regard him as a genius for being the architect of Bush pulling out two squeakers against the two lamest DemonRat candidates in the history of the world. (Seriously, if you can’t win against Gore and Kerry, get your lame ass out of politics and go run a coffee kiosk. Yeah, I’m talking to you, too, Pat Buchanan. How the hell can establishment Republicans call him a politician in the present-tense when the last election he won was in 1985?)

The Bull Moose party is a bad example. Teddy Roosevelt threw a hissy fit over his choice of Taft. Republicans were still a popular party. Teddy still thought he had the pull. The republicans aren’t popular now! They are seen as traitors who doesn’t stand for anything they ran on. Also remember, the Patriot Party has no platform established yet. Its just a name for now powered on pure Trump.

Might be a better idea to approach Libertarian Party, get them to modify some of their more extreme positions, and run on that ticket.

"I understand the logic behind taking over the party rather then start a third and I agree. However the un-representatives deserve this to happen to them."

The UN-REPRESENTATIVES deserve this to happen to them..

That they do..! But we don't.. So I do agree with you that just taking over the GOP would be a far better decision..

Not going to waste time with this lie. 3/4 of Republican would go Trump and 1/4 rats IF we get them the truth

You do the research. I already have. Review presidential elections for the past 250 years and let me know how many won 80% of the vote. Your assertion is ludicrously ridiculous and massively anti intellectual. There is ZERO proof Trump even won a plurality.

Crowd sizes are irrelevant. Look that up, too.

Ahh a John Bolton Republican I see just bend over and take whatever Karl Rove throws at you huh?
+++++
Nope. I am a Trump supporting Libertarian. If I could flip a switch that would replace the Republican Party with the Patriot Party I would do it in a heartbeat.

But there is no such switch. That conversion will take a long time, several 2-year election cycles at a bare minimum. During that transition we will be looking at years and years of 3-way races where the Dems hang together and the conservative split their vote.

If you actually doubt that scenario you should explain how it can possibly be avoided.

And I will make a prediction. Trump will agree. He will not start a 3rd party to run against Republicans and Democrats. He will be supporting the contesting of the Loser GOP candidates in the Primary Elections with endorsements and money.

I assume if you think that is the best course you would expect Trump to pursue it. He won’t.. it would be a mistake. Time will tell if I’m right about that.

I will support him regardless but defeating anti-Trump Republicans in the GOP primaries with our “Patriot Party” candidates is a way better course.

“I assume if you think that is the best course you would expect Trump to pursue it. He won’t”

I wouldn’t be so sure about that. He’s waffled around the subject because right now he needs the good graces of Republicans. I can easily see him coming back to the idea when the establishment GOP betrays him again. And they will.

I don’t deny the possibility. What I hope and expect is that we will all continue to support him regardless. I absolutely agree that the status quo is a death spiral. We need leadership to avoid that fate and Trump is the one.

Once again I ask you if Karl Rove says the only candidate that can win in your area is pretty much a democrat just take or leave it what do you do just vote for the old lesser of two evils? Of course cause that’s what good little two party system lovers like yourself do. There’s no need to go third party just register independent and stop donating and volunteering to the national GOP and as this poll shows there is a market for this

“He will be supporting the contesting of the Loser GOP candidates in the Primary Elections with endorsements and money.”

Before he does that, he’d better get his —— together and work on election/voter fraud. All the endorsements and money in the world will do nothing to overcome massive cheating by RATs.
