Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser told “Just the News” on Friday that the Democratic-led Senate and House will vote in favor of statehood for the District of Columbia and send the bill to President Joe Biden’s desk, who has expressed support for D.C. statehood in the past.
Bowser said, “The nation’s capital, the federal enclave, continues to exist as the nation’s capital and everything outside of those new boundaries becomes the 51st state. Our congresswoman – we had our first successful vote on statehood in the House of Representatives last year. She reintroduced the bill. She has a record number of sponsors.”

My D-I-L is Puerto Rican and she said they just voted for statehood. We’ll see. I don’t think they really want to pay taxes.
Atlanta should be it’s own cheating state. The rest of GA should remain GA.

I did some checking on that vote and they said the process was so flawed Congress didn’t pay any attention to the results.
Let this sink in:
- They must retain a tiny DC that remains the “seat of government”.
- This will be a few blocks of land, a few hundred residents.
- Under the 23rd Amendment, these few hundred people get 3 votes in the Electoral College.
And where are our so-called “leaders” of the Whig..er, Republican..party on this? Has anyone heard a PEEP from them saying something along the lines of “um, no, you can’t - and we’ll sue the living daylights out of anyone who attempts to try such a thing”?
McConnell needs to go, and go NOW if not sooner. Replace him with Cruz or Hawley.
Next will be Porto Rico as the next Marxist's "packing the Senate" state to be made up. Wonder what other US territories they will move to make states!! Hell, the way this mob of criminals is going, I suspect they will offer Statehood to Mexico, Honduras, Venezuela, Panama, and all the other Central American countries that their citizens are abandoning for the USA. Hell, make them Marxist's states and just give them the free everything under the sun in benefits and let them stay there. THERE ARE NO JOBS HERE FOR THEM TO TAKE ANYMORE!!!! All the landscaping jobs are taken; the hamburger flipping jobs are already take up; Arabs from the middle east have bought up all the gas stations, mini marts, 7-11 type stores, so none of those are there. The only jobs I can think of for them are to join ANTIFA or Black Lives Matters and become part of the city burners and gangsters.
THIS action, is the Marxist's starting their moves to make this a One Party Nation, with them in charge of EVERYTHING. From your pay check, to your puny retirement check, to your health care OR SHOULD I SAY, the LACK of your health care AT THE GOVERNMENT'S DECISION!!! Socialized medicine just like the UK and the EU's healthcare (or lack of) system. I can only say that one horror story that I read on the UK's system was a guy who blew out his ACL in his knee and it TOOK 18 MONTHS to get a damned MRI. It took THREE FREAKING YEARS ON A FREAKING WAITING LIST TO GET THE SURGERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a knee replacement in Nov 2018. The stinking so called surgeon who came highly recommended by dozens of people I check with, how great he was, great job, yada yada. Well, he screwed it up. In June 2019, when a new doctor found that both parts the first guy was suppose to "cement" or as I call it, glued in, didn't do a decent job and everything came loose and banged around in the knee. The second doctor immediately got me back into the OR and fixed the knee right. I told him to use extra Gorilla Glue and make it hold. He did. But the damage that the first replacement did inside my knee has caused a host of other issues. The knee which was suppose to be "fixed" is now worse than before I had the freaking first surgery. Wish now I had just left the damned thing like it was before the surgery. BUT, WHAT I AM GETTING AT IS, that if this were the UK, I would have waited YEARS for the first surgery and YEARS to fix the screwed up surgery!!! WELCOME to the Marxist's Dimocratic healthcare system of obama nation.
So, folks, it is starting. The list of "changes" are just starting. I bet their "list" is VOLUMES long. Probably bigger than the damned budget for 2021 book will be. The only words needed inside the new budget will be: SPEND AS MUCH AS YOU WANT ON EVERYTHING WE WANT TO DO. And to hell with those states that voted for Trump. signed: Deadbrain Communist Buttbuddy joe biden. (sorry for the rant folks. sometimes this crap just gets to you. especially for we older folks who have lived in a free nation all our 70, 80 plus years and now may finish out our lives in a Soviet state.)

It would be unconstitutional. DC is spelled out specifically in the Constitution as a Federal District. The only remedy would be to cede the non-Federal area to Maryland and give them an additional House rep.
The only agreement I would allow is that the State of Columbia (or what ever they call it as Columbia is “racist”) would be to give them everything inside the Beltway. Then Virginia would have a chance to be Red again and counter DC.
