RealClear Policy reported some Democrats not only want the checks bigger, they want to make them recurring.
Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass., said the payments should be monthly "for the duration of the pandemic."
When she was a senator, Vice President Kamala Harris proposed "survival checks" of $2,000 per adult, plus additional funds for children, that would continue until three months after the "health emergency" ends.
RealClear Policy's Matt Weidinger pointed out that even if the payments lasted only six months, a family of five would receive a total of $60,000.

I think 90-percent of us clearly understood the chatter of the check business, and it related to $1,400....not an entire new check for $2k.
I noticed yesterday...lot of suggestions that this wrap-up of the stimulus probably won’t happen in Feb or Mar. They didn’t want to explain the delay on this....making you wonder what issues are brewing. At the pace of things, I’d suggest another extra $2k to occur by Nov/Dec.

IRS said they mailed my wife and I $600 on Jan 6. We have yet to get it. It wouldn’t be the first thing that the mail man stole.

Fact! Look at big cities, or states like California. No matter what the Dems do, no matter how badly things are messed up, the people still vote Dem.

This issue is that some Democrats want a full new $2K check; Biden had only committed to an additional $1400
(New $1400 plus Trump $600 = $2k).

Whoever makes or offers to make an expenditure to any person, either to vote or withhold his vote, or to vote for or against any candidate; and
Whoever solicits, accepts, or receives any such expenditure in consideration of his vote or the withholding of his vote—
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.
